There is, comparative to the past, a sea of Corrado's for sale at the moment, some nice ones too - G60 on Ebay for 9995 looks clean. Prices are still quite strong, compared to say a Mk2 Golf which historically has been priced higher. Whether they sell is anyone's guess I suppose. I look most days in the hope of finding a bargain, but the cheap ones would cost more than a nice one to put right so haven't had any luck.

N 903 580 03 has been superseeded by N90358004, specs are M14x1.5 Cheapest from LLL Parts (has parts diagrams too) but they have a picking and packing fee so only worthwhile if you're buying other bits and bobs. If not heritage parts do it for £12.50+post... Looking good Dougie, what banjo clamp are you after? We might be able to suggest an alternative - HEL Performance make quite a few bolts. VW parts supply is pretty rubbish, even Mk5 Golfs are suffering with VW obsolescence, however there are many alternatives out there. All the best Matt

I'd get them shot blasted and then upto you on powedercoat or paint. Alternatively if you have time you could use deox gel or even electrolysis to get rid of the rust. I put J&R driveshafts on a few cars and never had any problems. Oui, I have made the changes now. I knew they were wrong but left them, I was just sharing for oneohtwo as he had a leak after not using for while and wanted to highlight what can happen if you leave it a while with that type of clamp.

I too have just had a fuel leak, haven't turned the car on since a couple of weeks before my hols, so now sat for 6 weeks. I went around the village and could smell fuel. I realise the the clips for the fuel hose aren't the oem ones that move with heat cycles so will change those as first port of call. Those lines are new in the last year.

That's good, at least there are some options. What attracted you to the one in the link Dox? I put the VDO NOS one in mine, even though it had a crack on the casing. No doubt one day i will need to replace it.

Hi, It would be best to write an honest advert somewhere like ebay or the owners group on facebook and sell it on for project money if that's what the car is (you could put it on here too, not many people use the forum these days but it can't hurt). Any money spent on renovations won't come back to you and arguably you've done the right thing with yours to extract value from it - driven it for 28 years! Bodywork is really expensive as well these days which will sadly drive to many project being broken for spares. The market is pretty poor generally these days but if the price is right then it will sell in time. What is the spec, miles of the Corrado? Leather? I've seen a few projects for sale on the facebook group ranging from £1500-3500. Not sure if they actually sell. Sadly you can pick up a nice enough corrado vr6 for £7ish so that doesn't leave much meat on the bone if bodywork is needed, which with welding works could cost at least 5 figures.

Chris they will be epic on your corrado. You can easily put it back to standard when the need arises but you can't easily get your hands on a set of those and for 99% of people some tasteful mods such as these would never detract from your efforts. The engine bay rubber fuel lines connect to the hard line fuel lines that run through the chassis below the brake booster cylinder. Perhaps there is a problem there and fuel is making it's exist via the chassis rail holes the hard lines run through. It is unlikely the hard lines themselves have failed. Re the Coolant temps - if the reading is way off the car won't fuel right for a cold start (i.e. it may think the engine is warm) so is more difficult to start when cold.

You'll likely be fine with the Lucas as the part no is the right one. It's a good brand too. Do you know if your car has a pierburg or vdo pump currently? Re the fuel leak - is it engine bay or at the rear? I'd be tempted to replace the fuel lines just incase they have perished. Even newer fuel line that is supposed to be compatible with newer fuel can perish quickly. I bought some Mocol fuel line assuming it was a good brand / not a "chinese knock off". It is the right part number listed 1H0919651Q but the description stating 2.8 VR6 makes me want to double check as they can be 3bar and not 4 bar (however the part number listed ending in Q is 4 bar so in theory is ok, perhaps email them to check before purchasing as they don't state 4 bar on the listing). Joining this sticky, will this mod improve the play in my steering column? I know what i have is pretty normal but would like to tighen it up and make it feel more sold. Video attached.
