Henny Im impressed, didnt think of that!

I would personaly say vw didnt do as it is noisy! In different climates you would have to do something with the outlet to prevent freezing and FOD. The way they did it was the easiest and most practical for an all round application.

If it is a late corrado it defo would fit, if it is an early one I couldnt say!
-
Best to ring him, had a pm off him this morning saying he is only just starting back after his easter break.
-
Im going for a set of Carline's when I next put my corrado on the road to I can squeeze in the widest possible! http://www.advancedautosport.com/hoerc.htm
-
Yep I would! Theres a good chance you would never get stoped by the police, but if anything ever happened they would throw the book at you!
-
You will be very lucky to get a car and cat trailer to weigh less than a VR6, the trailers are usually very heavy! Ive been down this route before myself! I can also confirm that they are/have made it so you have to pass a seperate test to pull a trailer!

Rpmayne if you read the full post on VR6OC they say that it doesnt sit any lower. My fear is mine hits the floor quite often, it has a few large dints in it and it is wearing through is a few places. I dont thing any allow one would be able to stand that sort of punishment, heard a few storys of the mk4 bottoming out a cracking the sump! Ant thats a mk4, my c only has about 40mm sump clearance!

In what way do they feel bad then, stopping pown or pedal feel?
-
Yep they are genuine Wonder if they still have stock? If not I have a set that I would part with!

Changed your fluid recently?

Lower grill strip? not quite sure where you mean?

All due to age mate!

Yours the the later model c? Is so slide the indicator to the side and it should pop out, then behind where the indicator was you will find 4 rusty seft tap screws, the fog comes out with the whole bracket as you can see in you top pic!
-
Amberlight thats the stuff. Mite be a bit tricky to do the fogs as you cant easily get the glass off to paint the refector, but it could still be done with an angled/bent paint brush throught the buld hole!

Very european

That wheel looks a lot like a momo tuner, or a mountney M-range. Have a look here: http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/catalogue ... 002&page=1 (sorry dont know how to shorten the link)
-
It mite just be me, but it just looks like the reflector is painted yellow. Could you not just use the stuff you can buy to paint ya head lights yellow when you go to france, and do them yourself? Or even a yeelow nail varnish as that is translucent.

3M's trim tape, I know halfrauds sell it, make sure you wipe down all surface with thinners or something like first!
-
I can sell u a big install for an 18 inch sub, I would let it go very cheep but you would have to collect. Also have door build aswel!

Ian I have spoke to Gavin (H100VW) and we think it would be best to wip the charger off and seperate it rather than risk starting it again. When I spoke to Darren (G-man) he said it could be a colasped bearing and I have heard it just in time. Then when I can rule out the expencive bit I will put the belt back on! Cougar charger belts are both fine!
-
Belt off, started engine and no knocking. So on my engine that puts it down to the charger, alternator or or aircon pump. Charger spins fine with no tite spots, alternator spins freely. as does the aircon! so Im not the wiser. The 2 plastic pulleys have a bit of play in them but I cant see them causing a knocking! Im going to try and limp it home now with out the alt. Lucky for me the water pump is run od the v belt with it being factory aircon. Any more ideas??????
