Thats going to be hard to fit, I offered a new spoiler I bought for my golf agains my corrado spioler and there is a lot of difference, the main on being the amount of curve across the front of the golf spoiler! Which golf spoiler is it? the standard curve under one?

http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic. ... +eye+cover Search is your friend mate!

I used to have a cage in my corrado, I think there is only 2 companys or sumat in the uk who will insure you. With good reason, you put a cage in if you think by the way you drive your car you are going to roll it!
-
Heard a nova go past the mine the other day with one fitted, probs doubled the value of the car  #You can tell they are so fake, same sound no matter how many revs you change gear at.
-
Heard a romour they had closed down mate! I would drive up and have a look.

You guys should watch myth busters, they where all busted, did hardly anything to the engine, nothing to the tooth, was okay at polishing chome oddly enough. I use gunk mixed 50/50 with parafin, does have its own smell tho!

You dont need one, but fitting one will bring your intake temps down even lower and that means more power.

Wip out a plug and have a look at the colour, that will tell you how its running!

Buy winding it in you will decrease you idle and it will stall, check that your ISV it working first! Theres no saying when Darren shall grace us, but I for one have him on speed dial, always helpfull, and he hasnt even seen much of my money!

Riley I think a quick phone call to g-werks would answer most your questions. Its only a 2 hour job to whip off the charger and to open it up and see what is going wrong. All charger work is carried out on your charger if I recall! My idle screw used to hiss wen it was would out too far to compensate for a sticking ISV.

Not quite 1v but, "The voltage produced should swing from app 0.2v to 0.8v and back around once per second. " This is with the engine running and up to temperature, and the lambda still connected!

I like it dude, but I would put on ya flame suit!
-
Nosky, sorry mate but it aint gonna grip at the pod track with road tires, get a good burn going on before going to the line. My charged vr wouldnt let me floor it in second with out spinning up last year, and still got a bit in third with a heavy gear change.
-
B prefared to get ya ass kicked by the bugs tho mate, My corrado runs high 13's and they still get me. puts you off wen you see them go up on their back wheels off the line! There was a camper van running 14s last year and got his wheels up off the line, and some street legal bugs in the 10's
-
It has been done before by a german company and it got featured in PVW back in 98, so yes it can be done and yes it does fit! the company was call teck or something it was blue and 4wd too

G-werks or pitstop mate! think they are about 27 at a guess!

Wonder if A20LEE will agree with that coment! Well looking at mine I would say its race spec, but you lot will and do think Chav, haha! But like I have said before many times what does it matter what other people think of your car, it is your car do it how you like it, I never understand wen people ask what wheels they should get, its your car do what you want and stop being a sheep follwing the flock!

My golf daily driver runs poly bushes at the rear, and I got to say kev, I get no sqeecks or creaks, in any condition, and the golf is a cabrio so I would defo hear anything like that. As to weather they haddle better I cant comment, as I replaced worn out bushes so it felt way better anyway, but the golf does handle like its on rails, but I put that down to 9 inch of rubber on each corner and a 2 inch widened rear axle!

It will be hard trying to get an argeed value on what is a standard car that isnt quite a classic car. I understand what you aree saying tho.
-
I got a group buy going for kits, I will forward you the pm I am sending out. it is a sticky in the engine forum!
-
task have you opened the charger yet?
-
I know what you mean Chris, I have a charged VR with high millage to, all Im saying is the G chargers you hear about that have gone puff, are usually down to them not being serviced as per manufactures instruction. It is yet to be seen if our chargers on our VRs will do 170,000 miles, okay the engines will, as will the PG engine.
-
Blow me everything will break if its not mantained propper!
-
You need to find out which bits are damaged in your charger, if you have managed not to damage your displacer, I have a charger with just a damaged displacer, that I would let you have cheap!
