  1. N/S side indicator not working - check for crack allowing water in. common fault either empty it and reseal unit or put hole in bottom to allow it to drain ( once you get enough money get a new unit repclace it if you want). N/S headlight insecure (the bracket is broken) - again common bodyweld it (fibreglass stuff used for filling holes can't remember proper name.) tips hat to h100vw - N/S headlight aim low prob sorted with above mine was. :D - Washers/Wipers not working - probably working, but not clearing enough away bend them in slightly and put on new blades if needing changed. Rear brake load valve seized - you may be able to rework this. however if its too far gone take them off and replace them (some places offer disc if you take old ones up if your going for new) -O/S N/S front suspension leg tops excessive movement/play - could be anything could just need tightened. - N/S front brake pipe bulged / Rear brake pipes rusted/weak - replac pipes , if its only a flexy they are not a lot of money and relatively easy to do. Emissions too high - 9% - redex? dont think itd reduce it that much and im kinda against the stuff. - Water leaks/Fan problem/Temp gauge problem - check for split hoses possibility of radweld but again im not sure of these products. check the bulbs and fuses for the rest of the lights and as for tyres and rim although replacing a pair is better if the ineer rims arent bad aqnd they'll let it through hows the spare? itd be worth checking the exhaust joins too and for holes. good luck.
  2. oh btw 0-60 was just less than the 2l but when they reviewed the site this was taken off dunno why.
  3. http://www.parkers.co.uk/choosing/carre ... nge_id=347 have a look at parkers tells you tech spec and insurance group.
  4. emmm when removing mine it was just turn it anticlockwise (you can grip the hose connectors to do this) and a little(and i mean a little downard pressure. then its just sorta expands up because of the spring (at least on a 16v it does) , the pumps in at a slight angle (assume to do with the shape of the tank) so it was a bit weird but other than taht relatively simple. Just watch your hosepipes are out of the way to avoid them dripping any fuel.
  5. mates did used to be bit more explicit tho. please excuse this mods bighairyb*st*rd was the original
  6. i cant rememebr the exact cranking output but its quite high. it was a calcium battery and £43 otherwise wouldn't have suggeted it. wouldn't usually give halfords the money but they had a good bit of money off which made it affordable and convenient option. Varta are good batteries though.
  7. halfords do decent ones and they were on offer and come with 4 year warranty. They also have a chart with the corrado in it so you can make sure you get the right size. I took the largest tho rather than the standard
  8. emmmm.... here ya go belive it or not i have lots of worse pics
  9. no bother btw what i mean by tpe of ink is some colours of ink read better same happens with playstations .... ahem
  10. its usually the type of ink on the dics and some cd players also have problems with the speed you burn them at. some cd players need them to be burnt really slowly but i thought that was only the older ones.
  11. oh and if it is is too full you can remove the coolant using one of those drinks bottles with the sooky valve thingy. open valve squeeze air out put in water let go o squeee sides til sooks up close valve and take it out. squirt some back in if you take too much out.
  12. make sure the coolant isnt overfull as this can also cause this,
  13. merry christmas everyone.... Im still drunk    needing to sober up, i got really really drunk last night which is not like me and dont remember last wee bit walking home eek... so much for me working on my car today ill no be going near the keys. 14. dunno if itll help but heres two http://www.the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=16294 http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10986
  15. For the cost of it i would get it done as soon as possible because although if in theory its only just started to go you may be able to repair it if you leave it too long you might not be able to just re-boot it and if left too long i could be worse. btw if moneys tight and you may be able to get a full second hand refurb driveshaft for New parts are obviously better if you can afford it tho.
  16. try http://www.partsgateway.co.uk for second hand one. got one ofr £20 ish quid (cant remeber exact) and the give a limited warranty
  17. has to be british standard or ecc approved even some branded ones arent coz they can't be bothered to pay fo thre testing so wcheck it out carefully. also please bear in mind that i may be wrong (although im pretty certain im not) so please make sure of these details before spending out hard earned dough.
  18. a pissy little 110 havent had it up any higher than that dues to speed cops and just having finished rebuilding bits (dont trust me handy work yet) fastest ive ever drove 155 - 160ish mph (dunno what really as i wasn't look ing at speedo) in my old jag xjs that was fucking scary it kinda plants itself at that speed but you wonder if you can break before you hit the next roundabaout.thank fuck for the huge tyres and big discs. shame on limiter (had completely hit limt but could feel it still wanted to go) oh and it also cost me a lot in fuel.
  19. she'll have a big head now if she see the forum. cute though. im well impressed with the footage. if only id kept my camera.
  20. mounted on the bonnet lip? oh yeah nice to put a face to nickname. emmmhave done but never do it with one thats not insured
  21. well impressed. Interested as to how you mounted the camera. simple but effective camera work, great choice of tune. 8) thanks youve inspired me to struggle on as it reminded how much fun the c is to drive (mines been off road for a bit) gotta love the "oh well" attitude best way to cope with these 16valvers. get back on the horse thats thrown you an all that.
  22. nah try it first just youll need all your weight and to hop/bounce a bit my mate managed it with his weedy 9st tbh honest i only use one foot and no even half my weight. I havent weighed less tha 12 since i was 12
  23. the longer the tyre iron the better leverage you would get. Otherwise put tyre iron on properly just above horizontal step on it putting your hands on the car pillar (so as to support some of your weight) let your weight "crakk it" do same for others. ive even seen one time where i needed to hop a bit. helps if you weigh about 14st or more...... ahem i wont tell you my wieght  lets lets just say the name is quite true. Be carful though make sure the iron is on properly so you dont sheer the nut and not too much weight only enough to xcrack it and dont forget handbrake.
  24. Tbh im getting to the stage of annoyance my car is still not up and running due to lack of time and no parts... oh well. Due to time constraints i may end up selling my corrado would be around £1500 dont want to though
  25. rear drivers side beside arch in front of tyre . see this thread: http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic. ... highlight=
