I think the 1.8 valver is pretty much on par with the 2.0 16v. IIRC, the 1.8 is a little faster to 60 because it doesn't have a cat. What's your budget?

I know that on the mk2 Golf's the doors were sometimes prone to sagging a little. Does sound a little bit like it's been pranged and resprayed. Did you do a HPI check?

Have you used coloured film over the standard lighting?

dazzy - No customs charges as the good people at Turn2, mark the value down as about $25 which falls under the UK customs limit (or IOM customs limit in my case). I'm not sure where this puts you if the package is lost, as you can hardly have insurance for $200 and a value of $25. Hopefully Jim will be back to shed a little more light. I will definitely be buying a second kit when I change insurance company's at the end of the year.

Just to back Jim up, I think that there customer service was absolutely superb, and a lot of Company's could do with taking note. Although I did enquire about a possible group-buy on a few things but got no response to a couple of emails :?

Photo's of the now damaged area (with a date would be superb), from before the car went in?? What exaclty have they managed to do? Tricky one really because you could threaten them with legal action and they might fold, but then again, they could stick to their guns and you might have a hard time proving the damage was not there beforehand.

Hmm - stand corrected then. Maybe I was thinking about Corrado bench into a mk1 Golf....

The only thing that sticks in my mind about the rear bench into a Golf conversion is that you have to hack a lot of the foam and other gubbins out of the bench to get it to fit.
