Nice row of veedubs! ;)
-
Welcome to the forum. Have a search for idle, there are quite a few subjects on the matter.
-
Chris mate, I did clearly state that it was not aimed at you but merely this type of thread. It's just unfortunate that I aired my voice in this particular thread. I wouldn't hear a bad word against you. That's the truth.
-
Chris - glad to hear that the charger has been worth the wait now that it's all sorted! :D
-
 Pulls up a ring-side seat. Which one is Laurel again?
-
dazzy - i'll send you the document over MSN if you like? Edit: attachment added for other people. Should be able to click on the attachment and 'save as'. HTH
-
Just spotted one for £950 actually. :)
-
Yes but the holes help to dissipate heat away from the disc surface.
-
Cheers Jim mate - the torch has been passed ;)
-
Is there a mod who would like to take over this for me? I don't mind doing it if no-one else wants to.
-
I recommended the Mer polish above, but don't use it anymore since I switched to Swissol wax - Swissol is absolute quality! I actually sat and watched the water pour off my car whilst it was raining for about half an hour (!!), while all the other cars just seemed to absorb the water. You's gets what you pay for!
-
Looks nice mate! What is the colour? Not to clued up on my greens! Should sell quite easily I imagine.
-
You might not have a coilpack. What year and month is your car?
-
Jim - not a wax, but Mer polish is really good stuff and sooo versatile. You can use it on glass/chrome, you can use it as a straight polish or add it to the wash water and then buff it off after washing the car. Top stuff in other words. Loadsa blokes on CGTI recommend Zymol as well.
-
Turn the wheel to full lock might help as well.
-
You could remove the grille and put some blue led's in there I suppose :?: (This is a joke by the way. I do not condone the use of led's for huge power gains.)
-
Isn't it illegal (over in the UK anyway) to have a screen where it is viewable by the driver? Looks smart though!
-
I think that's the better way to do it :) :D :) - engine laquer on the calipers didn't survive the Honda Revolutions track day - now not looking so bright blue, more bluey/browny/black in places & bubbled! You can get some proper high temp engine paint though, which might be a good idea on a VR engine!

God I wish I'd seen this line earlier!!!!

It's a sad sad day when you cant trust a specialist!!!!!!

This thread is under much discussion at the moment. As long as Ant is prepared to stick to his comments, and can prove them, they are not classed as libel and the thread can remain. If John asks us to remove it, then we're going to have to probably do it. Please think carefully about what you say, or it may be deleted. -
Ask Pau1 - he's just bought some recently. Think he paid near £100. Don't quote me!
-
You mean like this? : Simply done by: {quote="Rams"]If you have connected it properly, you may just need to bend the contact out so it earths itself upon contact therefore sounding the horn. :D[/quote} But remove the squiggly brackets and replace with square ones.

As Jim says, it's more than likely the door skin membrane. Take the door trim off and do as above :) Don't bother getting a replacement membrane from veedub - rip-off!
-
A mod might be able to sort that for you ;) .......but don't wanna appear to be "over-modding" ;) hehe. You can edit your own post if you like. Gimme a shout if you want me to do it for you.
