I don't think they technically appear as post until they are formally approved. Easiest way is the Mod Ctrl Panel and there's a section for all threads and posts that need approval. Or there is usually an icon next to individual threads specifying that there are unapproved posts. Not having a pop :) - I rarely check but that's because I am literally on for a few minutes here and there.
-
Problem is Jim, his posts were sitting unapproved. Take another look now ....

I guess it's like buying a car really ... what's the budget Chris? :)

for sale Aqua Blue VR6 for £4600 in Suffolk
VR6 replied to Pat_McCrotch's topic in Cars for Sale [Corrado]
How much with one of the ducks included? I've known Neil for a good few years now, both on here and in "real life". If I was going to buy another Corrado, it would 100% be from someone like him. He's not the best dancer in the world, and he takes the word 'anal' to a new level, but (without seeing it) I dare say this is actually one of the nicest/cleanest VR's out there. Buy it before I do!!! -
Coilovers and an uprated headlight loom.
-
Mind if I ask how much the car itself cost? I'm sure others are wondeirng as well! :)
-
Sounds like they did a proper job!!

Great stuff - brilliant to see one saved :salute:

Word of Warning Regarding Chris Knott and No Claims Bonus..
VR6 replied to Jim's topic in Chris Knott Insurance
If a single employee has provided false information, I doubt they can/will do anything about it, even if you can prove it with a recorded conversation. -
Good idea and thanks for the offer. Not something the 'site' would really want to get directly involved with. A lot of hassle/responsibility/liability potentially. I see no reason why members can't arrange this (or something similar to the VR6OC) themselves though. (Moved to Suppliers forum - can't really think of anywhere else for it!)

...and bonnet pins.

Arrogance? (Joke btw!!! Before I start getting hate mail!)

So what conclusion have we reached here? 1) New people are not welcome on the CF 2) If a newbie does find their way onto the forum, don't try and sell parts at higher prices than VW  Rob - being completely serious for a moment, please don't take any offence at some of the comments. We are honestly a very friendly bunch and it's not because you are new. I think if I posted up this advert I would get 10 times the amount of stick!!
-
Pedant M reg isn't it? /Pedant £500 though - you could make that much in 2 hours breaking bits off it.
-
Be fair to the guy - he is new and it's not exactly a nice welcome. He might not know the value of them so has picked a starting point at £200 or offers. What's wrong with me???!?!

Little known fact ... The red 16v badges are actually scratch 'n sniff and release the aromatic fragrance of bratwurst.
-
Think that does it, cheers Mr Dragon.
-
That's the whole point of the show though isn't it Mat? To show that a competent home mechanic can make a few quid in his spare time. Make £250 here and there and keep buying more expensive cars. Before you know it you've got yourself a Yugo.
-
Probably don't have a big enough budget.
-
Buy cheap, buy twice. Or 3 times as the case may be ;)
-
Ok no worries, I'll have a root around tonight hopefully :)
-
Ok will do - I'll need to dig it out first just to check it's still in the condition I've described. I think it's packed in a box somewhere. Will drop you a PM when I've got it.
