Really could not have gone to a nicer home. I gather you fk1000p the Brembos for the winter too? LOL Are you still pondering on changing the wheel colour mate, I still maintain they look great, suit the car when clean and the sun hits them.
-
Agree with you Ben, Its road performance and driving feel that matter over RR numbers. Your right about the indicators etc! Less is more with a lot of stuff on the C, thin line between a few personal touches and over modding. I'll check back every monday to see the results of your weekend efforts  .
-
Good man. That's just the enthusiasm + love I like to see the car getting. :salute:  Always good to get your own car looking how you want it.
-
James, I think there's a ' lil plunger of some sort' in the air system that gets a lil stuck every now and then, its only ever happened once to me, but freed itself after a night or two in the garage and was fine ever since. Sorry for the vagueness, but thought it was worth mentioning!

I have never seen this clip before, It's probably a Pea Roast! But a mate thought it would be funny to send it to me..I didn't.
-
How can you ever get bored watching that? Makes you want to own a MK4 just like it. :notworthy:
-
 I'm positive my custom and profit would increase this summer if I employed staff just like that pleasant young lady

Very exciting times buddy. :D I shall eagerly await the results 8) .

News to me?? What channel is Chop Shop then guys?
-
Get it valeted professionally buddy, need to use the right/good quality chemicals with an extraction machine. Then once interior has dried, the right bacteria killing odors. Plus dry fogging with the tobacco/nicotine solution if smell is still there. You did say its not too bad, so It prob get better in time anyway.
-
Ahh just like mine now then 8) . That's good news James, finishes all that hard work off nicely when your out on the roads running smOoooovve!.
-
Any news or feedback on your C2 gear yet mate?
-
They look real smart mate.
-
If the smell is really strong already mate, even if you give the upholstery a good steam clean with a strong de-odouriser you'll probably have some smokey smell left anyway. So you really need to have it fogged with a machine to kill any bacteria left in the headlining, behind dash vents, behind door cards etc. A local valeting company or S.M.A.R.T repair company should be able to do this for you at a maximum cost of £30.00.

Orange has got to be the way forward!
-
Depends what your idea of 'better' is mate. Faster Smoother Newer More Reliable Cheaper Both optons are alot of money for just an extra 50bhp on top of what you already have IMO. You could probably pick up a complete R32 Car for around 8-10k at the mo. If you really love your Corrado engine as it is - a charger compliments and refines it brilliantly.
-
How cool is this lil baby.
-
I saw one in flesh last night. they're pretty cool and better looking than a golf IMO. Surprised as to how dinky they are as all pics I'd seen gave the impression they're quite large and bulky.
-
Im glad to see your going with C2 buddy. Ive had mine in for a few weeks and my car has never run better. Just got to wind up that boost next week. I can't wait to hear your feedback on everything, so keep us posted asap :-)
-
Nice one Karl, Im sure your feeling happy now with all the sudden progress of wheels, seats and a running engine. Hopefully not long till the end now. :salute: :norty:
-
Just been a bit lazy updating it mate. Yeah still over the moon with the C2 chip. Totally transformed the car Tom. Nothing wired in yet..actually my next thing to sort...only going to put 2 speakers, a tweeter and crossover in each door as 3 speakers are pretty heavy! then decent 8-10inch sub with amp.
-
 Just as long as we don't have the same colour! :dorky: . I reckon we have the right colour for our paintwork shade though mate.
-
Cheers mate. Yes in Bronze, had them on for over a year now.
