1. Either your clutch is slipping or the gearing is lowered to reduce the top vehicle speed. US spec G60's have 140mph speedos - UK spec have 160mph speedos We don't suffer so many emissions restrictions as you.. :D
2. Only tyres I've used that were as good were Bridgestone "Expedia". They were on a Merc C36 AMG - £200 each tyre at the time !! Eagle F1's definitely the best around at the mo. They "let you know" when you're close to the limit. Fantastic grip, dry or wet.
3. measure sensor resistance across terminals 2 and 3 using multimeter measured value must fall within appropriate area of chart
4. 17's will raise the body height slightly - mine looked like a landrover until I did the suspension.
5. Cheers mate, Not sure exactly - I got hold of a fixed height lowering kit & played around (bodged) with the spring seats, mountings, etc. The front is around 75mm lower, rear maybe around 55mm. Basically it's as low as a Corrado will go. I have about 35mm travel at the back & about 30mm travel at the front. It doesn't like speed bumps very much. The ride is fairly hard but the handling is fantastic - no body roll in corners at all. It goes round corners like it's on rails !!
6. From reading your posts on this forum - it appears to me that your sole reason for joining the CCGB was to "save" money elsewhere (discounts etc). What makes a good club are members who are willing to put in some effort e.g. assisting/attending events, etc. Not people who join just to take what they can from it !! You state that you joined in 2001 & then complain about the website "getting taken off line" - this didn't happen until approx April/May this year (2003). Long after your 12 month membership would have expired !! How can you complain about a website going off-line when you weren't even a club member at the time ?? FYI - I save absoloutely no money whatsoever by being a club member - I get my parts at VW dealer cost (because I used to work there). I joined because I wanted to meet other Corrado owners, swap stories & not because I wanted to save £5 on my following year's insurance.
7. CORRADO4LIFE - is there any way that you could tape it for me ?? I lost all my Macc Lads stuff when I moved house a few years ago
8. http://www.macclads.co.uk I was fortunate enough to see them LIVE in Hull about 12 years ago. Best concert I've been to.
9. I know a song about that !! Blackpool One day, after closing, I was lying on my nest, when Stez shouted: 'Get your bags on, come on outside!' I grabbed my stripy tank top, ( I had beer stains on my vest) and I said: 'Best get some cans in, its a long ride.' We drove along the M6 chucking cans at other folk, Stopped at all the services for photos Picked up some fit hitch-hikers, and told them filthy jokes And piled them in the back seat for groat-os Muttley's in the driving seat, Stez Styx is in the front, they're shouting: 'Watch it, c**t, you're goin' get it!" Beater's in the back seat with a crack sat on his knee, He's got his finger up her like a ferret. Ten miles outside Blackpool, we had some real bad luck, Muttley shouts: 'Oh, f**k we've got a flat!' Beater chucked the jack at some c**t ten miles down the road, We made him go and get the fu**er back The twat. We're going down Blackpool, alright? We're going down Blackpool, for a pint We're going down Blackpool, to see the lights ©1983 The Macc Lads
10. PG is also the US G60 engine type - it's the VR6's which are different.

Not identical but may fit - http://corrado.atx-hosting.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=3039
12. Park your car around 1-2 yards from a wall & switch the headlights on. Turn the adjuster so that the beam shines just below the height of the light units. 1st time is a bit of trial & error but you'll soon get the hang of it.
13. I'd like to see where the "gas cooker & sink" fit..
14. Great looking car & impressive spec 8) - I'm jealous.
15. Pitstop Developments share the same premises - maybe they could help. (Steve aka beavis on the forum) http://www.pitstopdevelopments.com/
16. Exactly the same problem as mine. This problem is the loose plastic guide which fits inside the door & nothing to do with the window guide seals as some people have been experiencing.

18. jmig118 - If your G60 is US spec then your gearbox model should be either ATA - upto 7/90 AYL - from 8/90 until end of production. UK dealers can tell large amounts of (UK-spec) vehicle information just from the chassis number. The information we (UK) have regarding US spec vehicles is very limited. I'm surprised US dealers can't do the same - have you tried speaking to a different dealer ?? Just out of interest - my UK spec G60 has a CBA box in it.
19. 10w40 semi synthetic - I use it in my G60
20. It's not the glass that rattles on mine - it's a loose plastic clip/runner at the back of the passenger door window. Gonna have to strip the door & see how I can bodge it tight again. Only rattles when the window is fully closed. When the regulator presses the glass into the top of the door, this clip becomes loose.

ABS light arghhhhh!!

What was the exact fault code - should also be on your printout. With this code, I may be able to tell which wheel your problem is at.
22. I just had a look - 97/98 RON is just classed a "super" unleaded over here. I'm not so excited now.. :(
23. Just like the beer then ehh..
