CD's available on ebay - http://www.ebay.co.uk Paperback version - http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASI ... 44-8791670 Sam - not sure which car you have - this manual only covers USA spec G60's & VR6's (2.8). Some slight differences between UK & USA spec but this is the only manual available for the Corrado. Very useful but be aware that it does not cover either of the 16v engines or the 2.0 8v.

I looked at that one too - what a shed !!

Cheers Tony - I think their slogan's gonna have to get changed tho. How about - "The car that used to be in front was a Toyota"..

Yes - around 2 months ago

Not working at all at the mo. I have a 2nd interview with Toyota on Wednesday - looks like I could be working for them..

Just bought it a couple of weeks ago - 150bhp (lucas fuel injection), British Racing Green. 8) Stripping it down at my friend's body repair workshop. Needs a bit of welding, a couple of new body panels & re-spray. Engine seems okay although I'm gonna strip & re-build that as well. Should be fun for next summer - if we get any sunny days..

So far as I'm aware they're all just "mirror" sites for the same piece of software.

Wow - what a rip-off..

See http://www.thatcham.org/resources/pdfs/compliance.pdf Full list of compatible alarm systems..

"cheap" alarms will cause you no-end of electrical problems. Get yourself a proper CAT1 system fitted for peace of mind & further insurance discounts. As a guide - CAT1 systems usually start around £300 fully fitted.

Just normal wear & tear for me too. Spent 3.5k modifying it since easter though.. -
You still need the manual ?? I have a 996 on my G60 & have all of the documentation if you still need a copy ?

Get in touch with the alarm manufacturer http://www.scorpionalarms.com They should be able to provide the necessary wiring diagrams. Usually very helpful & based in Irlam - Northern Manchester.

front speakers sounds to tiny even with new components

Also check that your door "membranes" are attatched properly. These plastic sheets are attached to the door - behind the interior door panels. They may well have been damaged at some point. Are the speakers properly secured to the doors ? Using oxygen-free speaker wires will also improve sound quality. The "bell wire" that VW use as standard is not very good. Have you connected the crossovers correctly ? If the high pass is connected to the bass driver & vice versa, this will sound awfully tinny. -
Laserline 996 is a CAT1 alarm and will not have any key switches on the siren at all. Sounds to me like your system is faulty - how old is the alarm ? Still under warranty ? I would have it repaired asap - If the alarm control unit becomes faulty your car may not start.

Standard shocks with lowering springs is not the best setup to use. Anything less than 30mm drop & the car will start to experience handling problems. Far better to fit either coilovers or shorter (uprated) shocks & lowering springs. Any car with stiff/lowered suspension will be more prone to bangs/rattles but this is totally dependant on how many loose parts the car has.

Sounds a bit like my old PC..

Just a thought :- Many years ago I had a MK2 Escort  In winter I used to cover half of the radiator with cardboard to keep the cooling system warm. Effectively - halving it's cooling effect.

Just as Alex says - Your problem is that the Bentley manual is designed for IE5 It will work with IE6 (standard with XP) but the manual can only be accessed via the "search" tab. There is no patch available for IE6 - only thing to suggest is to try using it with another browser (does not work with AOL either).

No problems at all with my std Corrado rear wiper, although the Lupo front wipers are great - had them for 6 months now !

I lost mine before I got around to fitting it !!
