Wanted sumthin a little different so i went for the Hartmann style same as some new porkers, unfortunatly it doesnt sit as high as i wanted > sounds superb tho. Trig You had me worried for a second, no i think it must be the shadow Phil K This was how it looked b4 i had the inlet polished. Had to paint it because the powder coating would have ruined the polished sections. Did it with high temp paint and didnt take long at all.

Thought it was about time i got some pictures up.

Yeah i avent got 1, seems there is a few of us without >> got the elec windows tho. Mines heliosblue, aparently only avaliable for 89/90 and word has it hasnt been used again. Trig, Never seen a G ? U wont have to wait long bud :)

Results from todays efforts... Refitted inlet manifold after it was polished - all with new bolts etc Cleaned some more engine bay 8) Fitted VW centres to alloys Refitted rear badges New anti roll bar drop links both sides refitted innr arches + brake ducts Converted outside air temp to inlet temp Fitted some other spangly polished bits Replaced exsisting side repeaters with smoked ones Refitted wing mirrors after drilling out the orig bolts to get them off for paint !! Replacd some more screws with stainless ones 8) Final prep for MOT on tues

Car looks spankin bud, glad ure polish worked well > i got the same stuff the other day, hopefully get similar results 8) Only 4 weeks till showin and shinin time at RTTS :)

Its Unusual for mine to see ice - very rarely comes out in the winter :)

Removed old and fitted> side repeaters Fitted spoiler after paint 2 new wishbones, ball joints etc New wheels Upper and lower inlet manifold sections oil and filter change spark plugs retumbled locks and refitted after paint headlights steering wheel beesting aerial rear badges radiator cowling started cleaning airbox side of engine bay with a toothbrush - fun

Im after the plastic pugs that sit in the metalwork behind the front inner wing >> fixings for the inner wing screw into these. Stealers have give me 443 821 699 but they dont look anything like what i need. could sum1 check for me please Cheers

Just fitted my JOM 1 - trial fitted it when i first got it and one of the holes it goes into needed really minor adjustment (maybe 0.5 mm with a round file). sent it go get painted and was really worried about the issues i would have when i came to fit it >>> it fits like a glove and looks superb :D

ANC are reliable but costly, parcelforce are among the cheapest 2. They all go on weight so it shouldnt be too bad R u sure its comming with the sub frame coz thats the heavyest bit >> if you already have a corrado front bumper it wouldnt be worth paying the postage to have the subframe sent as they are real easy to swap. 2 give a rough idea of cost... Front bumper without subframe approx. 15 kg Parcel force guy i spoke to yest said bout £50 to have 80kg of wheels shipped form manchester to Torquay

Mine failed a few times on this - changed to Mk4 GTI calipers in the end to sort it

Didnt run the pump dry at all, its still sat on axel stands - i ran it from full lock to lock when i was flushing out the old fluid Perhaps it just needs a good run to shake out the bubbbles

Right... need some opinions >> Changed the fluid from red to green in my PAS system and now im getting a reasonably loud wirring kind of noise from the pump >> Changed the fluid 3 times in order to flush the so called red out (mine was brown) and even after flushing out 3 times it was still brown ish but looked better. *when draining the fluid each time it had lots of bubbles in it > could it be that i have an air lock in the pump??? if so how do i loose it??? or is it that the pump is dead now ive changed fluids - if it was origionally red that is 2 Steps forward, 3 steps back :(
