    yeah goo point - it is actually the side of mine that is bad. Is it one complete unit? Are the OEM parts expensive?

    oh right!! Yeah - good point re the hangers - mine fills the cutout in the bumper off centre!

    The door window rubber/plastic on the outside of my C is not in very good nick - form where someone in the past has possibly broken a window. It seals ok but is very bumpy. can this be sorted out easily or is it a pointless exercise and costly at that?

    yeah - I bet the aftermarket ones actually weigh more being detrimental in a way anyway!

    Discrete but bassy - kind of a professional roar, what's the word for it - mature and expensive is how it sounded! lol It really was something! So, given the fact that you have to drop the rear axle on refits - is it an idea to avoid the OEM one? I take it that the Magnex (or any aftermarket one) would flow better than the OEM?

    I had the privelidge of hearing a Magnex and a Milltek on a C on the VR6 last weekend. All I can say is MAGNEX - end of story!!! The fit is better than the OEM and the idle is gorgeous.... 8) BUT when you floor it!..... LOVELY :) I want one!! :D How easy are the Magnex exhuasts to fit? I heard that you had to drop the rear axle to fit an OEM one, is that right??

    my VW dealer told me that the C only has ABS on the front brakes. Is he wrong then??

    Has anyone got Etka running on their laptop? My laptop has too small a screen resolution for Etka and I cant seem to install it! Any ways around this?

    Is it worth selling these separately?? I was thinking I might like to keep one JUST in case I ever buckled one of mine!? What do people think they would fetch individually?? Was thinking that others may want one to replace a buckled one or as a spare etc... :?:

    Just wondering... I have a spare set of speedlines with nearly new BF Goodrich tyres and some Dunlop sport on the others. Cant decide whether to have the wheels reconditioned before I sell em or whether to sell em on Ebay with the scrapes on the wheels intact. Would I make my money back in paying £150 to have em refurbed? Opinions?

    COMPLETELY recommend ROCHFORD TYRES in Essex. Ask for Andy. Tel 01702 545689 They restored an already refurbed speedline that had cracked due to overthick powdercoating on a previous occasion. The lettering is now SHARP as hell and the colour perfect and I really couldnt be happier! The price £35.95 +vat per wheel just for refurb Add £6 for balancing and valves. SUPERB :)

    aposegil, yeah I know - you have said that before. I have used them for ages (since '95) but neither myself, my colleague, nor jay have found them reasonably priced nor reasonable. Just local! I always used to prefer NES in N.E. London and they were far better but think they have gone now. Will keep nirro in mind! :)

    Nice one, thanks for that guys - I have been using Stevens dismantlers in London E18 and have never been that chuffed with them!!

    mine was nackered but you couldnt really tell by looking at it. I just got a knocking sound from the cv joint that I could hear by manually turning the wheel. the boot had split and had allowed a lot of muck into the joint.

    PhatVR6, blimey - what are they normally on the VR? What would it do to the batt? Overcharge it?
