riley... your crazy!.er.. im 26 and this is only my second car, i had a 1990 jetta 1.3... what a car lol. which strangely led me to my 1990 1.8 16v C, did have a 1275 gt mini when i was 13, started prepping it for grass track racing, but never even got to drive it in the end lmao.

been trying to find something like that, kev, no luck as yet. problem im having is finding something thats as tough as the old pin in the right size, its a pretty hardened little sod!

mike this is not a fix, youll notice dig has already done what is suggested in dave's thread, and so have i, but it doesnt fix the prob, at least not permanantly. all thats doing is pushing a worn pin back into its place with nothing to hold it there, so as before, within a short space of time the pin will again work itself loose. so if anyone has a permanant fix for this id love to know how... i just dont know what to do with it anymore.!

keep an eye on the pin, it will most likely come loose again. its happened to me a few times and unfortunatly i cant find a decent fix for it yet, so as usual ill be of little help really lol. other ppl here have had the same happen but i havent heard of a permanent solution. andy

well i do have that problem, but the pin just comes back out after a while (ive hit it back in 5 times since i got the car less than a year ago) the pin is now held "securely" with all sorts of fixing materials(and super glue) :oops: . (seems to have solved it for the last couple of months anyway) but the column still has play in it up/down, feels like a bushing has gone somewhere. i really dont know what it is but when i heard how much a new column was i used anything and everything i had to hold it in place!

MoMo corse for me. was going for the race, but managed to pick the corse up cheap, i think its discontinued, or replaced with the tuner.. feels great and fits the int real nice too

always one up from bottom, but i think mine is on its way out :( does anyone know if you can replace the adjustable one with non h/a and how much that would cost...??
