Have gone for the schimmel chargecooler set up, same has kev. It is a fair amount of work been you got to relocate the battery and run the water pipes under the car. The hardest part was fitting the exchanger in front of rad, i was lucky to get a 20'' exchanger from schimmel which fits in but very tight, did'nt even remove bumper, just made some brackets to fit under rad and used the spal fan pins though the fins of exchanger and rad, leaving 1 inch gap for air. Using a 11'' & 8 '' spal fans should work a treat, the 8'' is on a switch under dash for when stuck in traffic. Heres few pics so far (log still to fit)Corrado92.pdfTray in place.JPG[/attachment:d1a9a]passat climatronic wiring diags.pdfexchanger 1.JPG[/attachment:d1a9a]climatronic wiring-Golf from May 01.pdfspal fans in.JPG[/attachment:d1a9a]2.8l 24v Climatronic system.pdfwater tank.JPG[/attachment:d1a9a]cooler in.JPG[/attachment:d1a9a]

How much you looking for the charger, could be interested. :) -
Cheers Michael, No rubbing problems at all, have got vibra-tech front mount
-
Here you go Goldie one for you of mine :)

Water injection is good, will certainly lower your intake temps but not as much as a intercooler or chargecooler. Depends what power your going up too.The more power the more cooling, Im going Chargecooler next , less pressure drop been im running a charger.
-
mark you got it back, hows it going mate :)
-
Heres mine with BBS RKII
-
You buy this one soon, as im going short runner :)
-
Bugger, i had a feeling that may be the case.. Im gonna do some more work on it tomorrow and see if i can get the pitting out and go from there... I had same nitemare, i went for powdercoat. You won't sand it out there just a bad cast. Thing is chrome powdercoat won't match polished rocker cover need to get both done. Wish i gone for black powdercoat now :?

BBS RC for lightness, RKII for looks 8) can't say there boring. Im a BIG BBS fan so
-
Has kev said you don't know if water is flowing. Here pic of gauge.
-
No problems at all, theres loads of room now, and a great weight saving. The cooling is fine. Would say its defo worth while. Ask kev (cheesewire) or anyone running one if these will tell you.
-
Just need speed 1 , use your live from fan to the red/white wire and the brown for earth, job done. Im also running low temp fan switch. It all works great :)
-
Karl im bored with power, got nice box of stuff from Schimmel here Can't wait to get this lot done & remapped :) Hopfully make it to ED38 this year, be driving up with mate of mine from devon with 1.8T mk2 golf 360bhp

I spoke to vince about a 6 branch and he said there not a lot of gain, i would'nt bother.
-
Its a Dubweiser rear brace, same as trimsport one. Leon You find these on http://www.spturbo.com routing easy, you only need main live straight to starter, bridge off starter to two way connecter box, where you wire all your lives. You use your battery clamp bolt for your earths, thats front done. The rear, the live to a 150amp fuse then to battery, the earth to seat belt bolt. :)
-
You can do it on the cheap, cable, connecting box, terminals, fuse holder. about £30,this is trade prices. keeping standard battery. If you go for the small battery (from schimmel) like mine with alloy tray its $220. :)
