Could be the ignition switch, when you turn the key try turning it with some force just that bit further and shake it about a bit. I had this problem and VW sorted it for £13 parts and 1 hours labour.

Just seen a post on the Yahoo group, apparently the wipers work great with no lift even at 100mph. Also, if you buy 2 drivers side arms instead of a driver and passenger side then both fit perfect without catching the bonnet or edge of the screen.

A £600 chip upgrade to the RS though and your talking 215BHP and 245lbft. Cant see a tuned VR6 saying bye to that so easy.

Just had a thought about this, once on the road how much would a front drive car loose on top of this due to rear wheel drag. I assume this is already taken into account on 4wd losses.

I had a leaking radiator when I got my car, bought a radweld but only used half of it. Its now 2 years later and the coolants been changed twice and its still holding.

I remember hearing that there are bolts in the engine bay hidden under the windscreen somewhere that a lot of people seem to miss. I dont know exactly where or if its the ones you already got but its worth a look.

Was that off the website, if so give them a phone as when I done a quote on there site it sounded good then when I phoned them they said I was too young (22) to be insured on a car of this insurance group. http://www.elephant.co.uk seem to be giving good quotes just now and the web prices are exact, can also be bought online.

The gtv is a bigger 3.0l engine I think. This means he should stand no chance against a vr6. I cant wait til I get one. :D (Fingers crossed within a month.)

Ok, so its a saloon but a very nice one at that. What are peoples opinions on the 2.5 v6 model and how does it compare performance wise to the VR6. The reason I ask is my cousin got one and he was wheelspinning away from me in 3rd when I had grip in second.

That would be great Scott, Cheers, I think the 2.0 16v Injection system is like a cross between K-Jet and Motronic, it has a metering head built into the airbox same as a 1.8 but has a Motronic ecu as well.

Scott, do you have this info on PC, if so could you please email me it. Ive been having a lot of probs with my injection system more or less since I got the car, currently we think its a metering head problem and its getting checked on Wednesday. I wouldnt mind having a look at your info though. Cheers

Just found out its got a Momo steering wheel, shortshift kit but no leather . At that price I would be wanting full spec so will probably give this one a miss.

hmm, decisions decisions, take an overpriced c that will be immaculate and with a warranty or take the time to try and sell mine private then see whats available. This is gonnae be a tough one.

Thanx, any more pics would be great. The picture I have looks pretty similar to the one you posted. To be honest im not too keen on Ice Grey Violet, have seen one but I really think the Corrado suits dark colours better. Heres a pic of the C im looking at, it seems overpriced at £8'999 with 60k but if I could haggle it down a bit and it is in immaculate condition then I would be willing to go for it as im planning on keeping my future vr for a long time. Also, if you know of anyone selling a mint vr in your area could you give me a shout? Cheers

I may be trading in for a vr6 and I have seen an N reg in this colour advertised, it sounds perfect but a tad overpriced although im getting offered a decent trade in depending on my cars condition. The problem is I havent seen the car in the flesh yet and have only seen one pic so I would like to see more pics of this colour, if anyone has any pics could you post them here? Cheers

What they say sounds good and I think there pretty well known in the USA. Sounds good to me, if I had a g60 then id probably get one.
