ok small update. Steering column from a mk4 golf fitted. Height and reach adjustable. This was done so I could easily mount the mk4 steering wheel position sensor and mk4 stalks with the cruise control. This weekend is the first proper bit of time I have had on the car since september, hopefully things will start moving again now. -
how does it know the lambdas are performing poor? if the coil pack is playing up, then it could be firing fuel out the exhaust and onto the lambdas. Its too much of a coincidence them both failing at the same time.

these shocks have the top mounts on them mate, and should be pretty much as new with 7000 miles on them.
-
now theres a thing. ITBs generate far less vacuum than a normal manifold, certainly on tickover. bikes carbs always have a vacuum take off on each body to enable balancing of the carbs. You could make a bridging manifold to equalize the pressure and and T from that to the servo

i'm with ya doc -
bike carbs are self regulated pressurewise.
-
how about the fuel pump from the bike?
-
are they not running motorbike fuel injection bodies though? carbs dont have a flow and return system, so it will just fill up the float bowls and flood the engine.
-
i would have thought you would have ditch the fuel injection fuel pump mate. Bike carbs have no return on them, the pump regulates the pressure in the float bowls.

the one in the back must be to balance out the horrific weight distribution problems created by fitting the one in the front :D
