nice one, I have been looking at a few of those. get yourself over to ukpassats.co.uk
-
i get a similar resonance, but don't mind it so much (4 cyl tho) usually drive at 80 tho, as it makes is more bearable. Honestly occifer

Point taken, but what I disagree with is that 18 - 25 is a large category, what would that statistic be if was split 18-21, 22-25. The stats can be bent to prove anything. The category is that size so they can bend the most people over as possible hiding behind the fact that the "under 25s" are more dangerous. To be honest, if you were drink driving before your 25th birthday, would you stop just because your 25? No, anyone who is that irresonsible to consume more than the legal limit and drive regularly would not give two shits if they were 24.5 or 25.5. I would think more people from an older generation 45-60 are worse for drink driving as they were used to driving whilst leathered during the 70/80s. All you had to do was walk in a straight line FFS.

what I dont understand is that as a young driver ( Basically what they are saying is that you can't drive with any competance until your 25, what a load of balls.

more bullshit from insurance companies, it makes my blood boil
-
yeah I read this over the weekend, great writing and pictures. Felt sorry for the veyron, did everythin right but they still level "boring" at the car. I cant see how the fastest car in the world, that beats enzo's all over the place can be boring.

2.5 v6 TDI passat?
-
vr6storm, how come? my mechanic mate hasnt moaned! not that id listen!!
-
its a polished concept drawing again, not worth getting excited over. When its in the metal I'll pass judgement - I am pretty sure its going to look good, keeping the stance of the golf gti with a less bus like side profile
-
nice one mate, keep it on the black stuff
-
dinkus, what about voice operation? if mobile phones can do it..... (shooting from the hip so don't know if poss)
-
mr_fusion, i saw back to the future 2 the other night, first thing I thought of was your C and the Rotrex
-
woohoo!!!
-
xbones, when we travel over to the IOM I hate paying the rip off price on the forecourt, especially when you can see several oil rigs on a clear day from the island!!!
-
what about from a leon cupra r, skoda () could change the badge on the front quite easily?
-
cant go wrong with that one. New accel cable about 25 quid from VAG and similar amount + VAT to get fitted. But if Supercharged is on the case it prob cost beer tokens :D

its a beaut mate, didn't realise your selling :( -
16s I think may have to be my next step but dont want to buy anything too heavy which will mean shite ride quality and too wide making tramlining worse. O/T will be camping fri and sat. I imagine we will all have a big spot for the camp site. Need to get my ass in gear and make sure I have got everything I need
-
to be honest, I think with the advent of the "corporate faces" and pedestrian safety in cars these days it has stopped the creative element coming thru. I know cars have always had similar front ends, but nowadays companies are reusing the front part of the car (VAG, Alfa etc) I dont think we will see to much innovation, as mistakes are too costly
-
iow_corrado_g60, do u you accept beer tokens? ;)
-
iow_corrado_g60, that would be wicked mate. Looking forward to ed38!

When finances allow I want to change my rims (along with a million things) to something that give my rado a good stance similar to when it was running 17s. I have seen people running 9s up front which I think would be to much for a comfy daily drive, the roads I commute on are "interesting" to say the least which meant I was getting pissed off waaaay to easy due to the stress of dodging potholes etc!!! How many people run 7s up front 9s at the rear? Can anyone compare the handling to say 15s or 17 x 7 all round?
-
Blue_Joe, nice one ! how long is the running in period? few laps of around birmingham to do? enjoy your trip to Rome, wish my missus was as kind :D
-
nice one mate. Would like to improve the ICE in my car with a sub - but I couldn't get my golf clubs in without pushing the seats down. Hrmmm maybe thatt wouldn't be too bad :D
