triggermyson, I called HIC yesterday, interested to find out they are a sister company to Adrian Flux and couldn't quote me as I am currently insured by Flux. Cut down my negotiation options a bit!
-
spoke to John yesterday, he reduced my quote and my excess. Which was nice :D

i think there is a company is prescot (near st helens) called prestige wheels (i think!). They fixed on of mine for quite cheap Cheers Andrew

ah but for 5k ish extra is it WORTH it?

No I haven't got a payrise unfortunately :( Was in VW Macclesfield yesterday waiting for some blue clips for my vw badge and was poking around the R32 they had in the showroom. This was the first time i'd been up close and personal to the new model and I was surprised. Out on the road they seem to big (Golf+ anyone) and seem to have lost some of the presence that the mkIV one had. Everyone nows the new GTI is a corker pissing all over the mkIV, and I had it sorted in my head that if I had 20 to 25k and was looking for a golf I would get the GTI and save the money. From what I sure yesterday the R32 really looks the business! So what you would you choose if you had 20-25k GTI or R32? I think I would bite the bullet for the extra and go r32

New Car Time - My hand has been forced Alfa here I come!!!!!
Lippy replied to Blue_Joe's topic in General Car Chat
i think saab will be most suitable, I reckon its got to be more roomy if your bussing clients about, they look the part aswell. Alfa looks very nice, but they aint the biggest car in the world. Saab is faster and more reliable, what else do you need to know :D -
meh - would take it or leave it, looks too much like the mk5 r32 by trying too hard. the b5.5 with tasteful mods looks so much meaner. kevHaywire, VW have made a car to put the R36 engine in MINE
