Also another thing which has been bothering me is how come the new Golf can get away with having 18" rims and yet still maintain a comfortable/usable ride and yet if you tried having the same rims on a Corrado it would be bone shakingly bad! Sorry for all the questions!

nope :) the rolling diameter of a wheel/tyre comination will. what is it your trying/doing/thinking about m8? :) I'm considering getting some 16" rims with an ET42 offset, I presume the VR6 has an offset of ET43? I just don't want to mess up what I feel VW has perfected with the handling characteristics of the Corrado. Hence all the questions! Unless there is an ideal offset/wheel/tyre size combination which is better than standard?!

I see, so would the track increase effect the accelaration or top speed at all?

As above, if the wheels sat further in or out would this have an adverse effect on the handling?

Yeah they did, the last of the Corrados do but they weren't avaliable in this country but were in the continent but this doesn't help cause the G60 was only avaliable till 92 anyway

Don't bother with them, not any 6x4 speakers will ever sound brilliant.

They are no doubt very good cars but unfortunately I'm seeing as many MK5 GTIs as CTRs at the moment which really puts me off them!

Im getting the exact same error codes, although the ABS light is functioning perfectly. I still havent got to the bottom of it yet! One other thing, how come my version of VAG-COM doesnt display the Measuring Blocks like on that screenshot?

Only moonlight blue is unique to the Storm, you can buy a classic green VR6 with cream leather but no Storm badges. I've never seen or heard of a Corrado with airbags , don't think they were an option? Good luck with your search! Mystic Blue! not Moonlight
