  1. Looking on the infinity website, they do some nice 20cm coaxials http://www.infinitysystems.com/car/prod ... ion=EUROPE But i cant seem to find them for sale anywhere... Im not overly keen on 6x9s I dont think they will sound punchy enough for what I want :?
  2. http://www.hendoncarstereo.co.uk/cgi-bi ... d_CDA9847R 104 quid!
  3. Thanks mate, thats the headunit sorted! Now speakers...
  4. The reason I chose Pioneer stuff is because thats what I'm familar with  Could you recommend me an Alpine Headunit under £200 which has got full ipod support? This is all giving me a headache!
  5. I have been pricing up and contemplating a new audio system for my car details are below. Pioneer DEH-P6900IB headunit - £152 http://www.pioneer.co.uk/uk/products/25 ... index.html Pioneer TS-E1396 Front Coaxial speakers (located in the original door pods) - £50 http://www.pioneer.co.uk/uk/products/25 ... index.html Pioneer TS-E2096 Rear Coaxial speakers (located on a Stealth Shelf) - £74.99 http://www.pioneer.co.uk/uk/products/25 ... index.html These will be connected to a Pioneer - GM-6300F four channel amp. £134.99. http://www.pioneer.co.uk/uk/products/25 ... index.html I have decided against component speakers due to the hassel of wiring and the location of the crossovers. I am not a fan of big bass which is why i don't want a sub. My budget is under £500, I just want to know whether this setup will sound nice and powerful and whether all the components will be compatible. I am a total newbie when it comes to ICE so any help/recommendations are welcome!
  6. Has anyone actually thought about sending a petition to Hella, Inpro etc to produce all red rear lamps? They would sell like hot cakes if someone started manufacturing them!
  7. I found this site which stocks Amber LED bulbs, im not sure whether they would fit though? http://www.project-r.co.uk/bulbs_and_flashers.htm
  8. Yeah, to me they are the ultimate car and that V12 is probably the best sounding engine ever!
  9. Did you try both driving each others cars?!
  10. Probably a dodgy bulb holder connection. Take off the temp control dial and bend the little metal legs that come out from the centre up a bit to improve the contact. Failing that try a new bulb, Halfords do them for £1.79 it is listed as the interior panel bulb in their which bulb for which car guide. To be honest I am finding the whole late heater control panel a complete PITA, the lighting level is rubbish and it is really not as durable as the sliding type. Probably just use trigs how to in the kb and fit green light stringy stuff :) Thanks again, ll'l give that a go when i finish work!
  11. The C looks a hundred times better though!
  12. Nice one Yandards, I had the same problem with it only working on position 4 after taking it out about a year ago! So I removed all the knobs and I noticed mine weren't in the right places, swapped them round and it now works! Absolutely chuffed! I just need to sort out the lighting on the heater panel now cause sometimes it works and if you tap it it comes on
  13. Don't you hate it when you spend hours on the phone to them asking you questions but really they have no intention of turning up  DON'T WASTE MY TIME
  14. Those uprated looms are more hassle than anything else, my worked fine for a couple of weeks then after that started having the same symptons you're describing. Unpluged it connected the original loom up and all was fine. I checked the fuses, connections etc beforehand but couldn't get to the bottom of it  It went in the bin after that
  15. I'm the same mate, besides its always nice to start with a blank canvas.
