No problem mate. Let me know how you get on and if you need any spares too.. Cheers-Andrew

That engine looks like it's been sitting idle for a long time..? On the end of the fuel injector rail, there's a brown headed sensor that the connector fits on. Its normally on a small lenght of rubber fuel hose, throttle body side.

Italy's gonna win it..

**** deal to say the least.. I personally have never heard of him. Next time you need bits there's me, chris lilfuzzer, dox and many other trusted guys selling on the forum. I hope you get it sorted mate.

Right, No easy way of getting the sod to sit even either bar gluing it down. Just use a few small blobs of black silicone sealant then, just in case one day it needs removing, as the actual rubber surround is getting rare now and spares are hard to find in good nick and are usually stuck fast to the hatch's frame..

Rob, the Outer trim has a lip that fits around the glass, gonna be a bugger to get it to sit flush now as it is fitted before bonding in the rear screen.. No way you'll be able to refit the trim properly without removing the glass, I suppose you could glue it on using the black bonding glue used to glue in the glass but it's awful stuff and sticks like a bastid if you get it on your hands, bodywork etc..

I'll check mate, afairc yours should be the non micro switch version with the throttle pot fitted underneath.
-
I've Got a few grilles mate, no vr badge though The 3 slat grilles are all the same across the facelift models anyway, do you also need the badge too or can you use yours? If you send me your email, I'll snap a few photos over. Cheers-Andrew

I thought about actually cutting off the top part of the spare door in order to safely remove the all important weather strip.. I'll give it a go and see if I can get the bugger off without bending it, it's in A1 condition.

I think i may have the intake hose left over from My 19.000km 2.9 dizzy ABV '92 engine around somewhere. I'll have a look and see I I can find it and he back to you. Cheers-Andrew.

Right chimpys, yep, gone and had an accident..again, this time i fell off a bloody unsafe ladder At work and landed on my side from 3 meters up.. Which brings me to another booring stay at home. Anyways, name your worst physical, most unpleasnt experience you've had. Mine was when they stuck the plastic pee pipe up my dick whilst strapped to the hospital bed..NEVER again, I've never felt such excruciating pain..just as bad when it was removed. Unpleasant stories pleeze.

Which ones, inner door seals, outer door ones, frame ones, inner scraper ones?
-
Hi mate, welcome aboard. Right, I'll make a few suggestions to try and see if we can work out what's wrong. Cam timing spot on? It's surprisingly easy to get the cam/crank timing off by a tooth, seeing as you recently rebuilt the engine I'd double check it. Fuel pressure, sounds like a low fuel pressure issue, did you change the fuel filter? How many miles on the injectors? Have you checked the actual fuel pressure with an accurate gauge? Ignition side, plugs changed too? Leads ok? Have you checked the airflow flap isn't gunked up or sticking? The idle valve might actually be seized, I've change a few over the years, especially the 2.0 9A engine ones.. Have a look at that lot then report back. Cheers.

Found one..bloody thing is broken..
-
Only Got the longer Version mate, sorry.
-
A/C version or non air con mate? The plastic fan guard is longer if your Corrado has the 600mm water rad. Same thing regarding the metal fan cowling. Last time I looked I 'think' I saw both versions..i may have thrown them out though during an intense clean up..
-
Let me have a gander down in the garage mate, I'm sure I saw a set there.. Get back to you later on. Cheers.
-
The long plastic cover that runs over the radiator fan or the fan cowling?
-
Just unplug and change the temp and fuel gauges?
-
I've Got headlamps mate, what would you prefer, the nasty, brittle Plastic manual adjusters versions or the far superior electric motorized versions that also have manual adjusting knobs? Cheers-Andrew
-
Maybe mate, i'll check tomorrow morning when I'm down the garage.
-
I've got loads of spare ones mate, complete door handels though. Not a chance in hell of renewing the broken parts photoed i'm afraid, i've dismantled loads over the years. You can get the pressed in pin out but it wont go in again or it'll rip off the female eye bit it was pressed into on the handle.. all this whilst trying to compress the strong spring underneath.. Your broken bit is quite rare though, they normally snap on the striker finger bit. Let me know what you need mate. Cheers-Andrew

First thing, get shot of that awful 16v ratio'd 'box.. Second an LSD would be Ideal. Sounds Like 3rd gear's syncro is buggered, not really suprising though. Let me Know if you decide to strip and repair the gearbox as I have many spare innerds off various gearboxs including a 02J TDI 'box, much better suited to your engine. Cheers-Andrew
-
Unfortunatly mine's different.. different wire connector and yours looks slimmer too.
-
Righto cheesy, As it goes i've got a spare one mate. Do you know the part number on yours?
