I have to say...i'm not sure if i'm gonna like the look of this car / interior when its done...but i really can have NOTHING but full respect for the work that has gone into it :notworthy: ...i've not seen such an amazing amount of dedication to a project.....so much blood sweat and tears :D ....cant wait to see it all done.

totaly agreed....no offence to Kev..but this thread was'nt started about him although it seems pretty appropriate timing for it....it was about the general buzz of the forum of late....people getting far to personal and critisism not being CONSTRUCTIVE....lifes far to short for stupid little arguments about each others cars ....it just all seems a bit silly. yeah...twood be a real shame if something's upset him that much that he can no longer face the forum....a REAL shame....ive not had personal dealings with Kev but have had many a stupid question answered with just as stupid an answer from him and thats all i can ever ask for :( . Its seems to me that there's alot of beef around at the moment..and too much beef is never a good thing....look at what happened to Elvis. My car is a hobby to me..an infactuation maybe some might say :wink: ...but its not worth getting all vexed up over ... people will always have there different opinions about things but it shouldnt have to get personal. gutted. :(

exactly what i think of......ive had a tyre blow on me at 70mph and it's NOT fun....at 100mph+ i dread to think what would happen.

hi mate...welcome to the forum. the car that you can see me expressing my love for on the first page of this thread is a 92 g60 , not a storm (( these wer eonly vr6's in blue or green. ))...however ....i would agree that it is one very attractive car..... I no longer own this car, someone expressed more love for it than me so he took it away....the wheels that she is wearing are made by " Brock "...im afraid im not sure what the actuall model name is but i would say the reason you like the way the car looks on these wheels is to do with the fact that the rear rims are wider than the front....this gives it a very nice stance. the car in the pic has 4 stud wheels and yours will have 5, im not sure that brock made a 5 stud version of this wheel...but im sure you could find out. dave

there's no rolling road in Cardiff that i know of mate....i think Newport is the closest.

i can look at it, suck air through my teeth and tut....but im no mechanic mate...there's people in the Cardiff area who specialise and know about these engines..i'd recomend you take it to somewhere with a bit more knowledge of the car. There's N&G motors in Splott (( 02920 461 661 VAG Specialist )), Dubusiness in Taffs Well (( A G60 owner 02920 813 969 )) , Theres also a VW mechanic in Grangetown....try those first .... :D
