have you got the owners manual or the fuse box cover?..either should tell you what fuse is for what! :D

yeah...ignore him ... :roll: ....... :wink: cam belt and tensioner change should deffo be done if you have no record of it......ive just changed my fuel filter at 132k and it was WELL worth doing...and a 5 min job....i'd do the obvious oil and filter...but ive also just done a coolant flush/change and changed the rad switch/thermo/and temp senders at the same time so you might want to do that to.... really its how long is a piece of string mate....you could change everything if you wanted :norty: ....

alas...that pic was on the day i bought it....since then ive stripped it back to standard...since the stickers were removed its back to the 750cc...which would fail to get to 60mph so cannot be recorded. I spose im just biased mate....i cant deny that the crx is a sporty looking little thing..and nippy too.....but im just a vw dude...i think i'd rather a polo g40 or a golf gti or something than a crx. its not about the 0-60 to me..it about the personality of the car....you would show love to a crx now would you????

a honda crx is a nice car for kids 'n' girls....but its a step down from a 'c'....a valver is a better idea....like dave16v's....much less maintenence and fuel etc..... or then again...you could have the 750cc goodness of the panda....with NOS stickers and tinted windows...

you cant sell her surly mate.........you need to enjoy the money you've spent first....you'l struggle to get it back in the re-sale value....plus shes a stunner :wink: .....just dont drive her as often..or something... :? ...or get a real job... :wink: Alternitavly...in a couple of months my g/f will be through her test..you can buy her car from her as soon as shes passed....i put £5 in it the other day and it filled half a tank!. nuff said?

hmmm... ok scrap my post saying how well my car was running. It has taken a turn for the worst....it's now popping and farting and all sorts....basically miss-firing....exactly as if a lead were foofed or something.....i'm now wondering if i need to get a heli-coil put into the spark plug thread that's messed up. I'm currently sat at my mum's house waiting for an alarm company to arrive so that i can spend £230 on having an autowatch alarm put into a car that NO-ONE would want to steal.....as soon as the guys have finished im gonna put the car in the garage and leave it there.....then i'm going to walk home in the rain to my house and marvel at the sight of the £100 750cc fiat panda that i bought for my g/f to learn in which will be my ride for the forseable future. Dont you just love corrados.

This hong kong phooey stuff is going right over my head guys.....it must be a generation thing :wink: ............ :D Today i treated my car to the following: Thermo, Rad thermo switch, Pretty blue temp sender, Full flush,G12+, Fuel filter, Mk4 Rear Calipers. The car was running 10 times better on the 5m journey home from my mates garage "avec let pit" ...the MPG on the MFA had climbed up to 10mpg by the time i got home...but the needle didnt move where it would have before...so without having much chance to test it it seems to be running alot better. thanks for the suggestions so far.... and i'll have to get to an Aldi's near me Gav. :wink:
