P.S - just found a couple of missed calls on my phone from you, hope alls well!

Yip! - as much as people moan, it's only to try and avoid this type of mess, i'm sure the mods get more than their fare share of hassle on there. Hope you manage to sort it all out Andy. -
It's difficult to put a price on a car without having seen it/driven it etc, but it sounds like it'd be worht in the region on £4k - £5k.

You'll need to give a bit more info on the car for people to give you the right advice, also - how much the car owes you.
-
 - It's starting to take shape at last! nice one 8) - can't wait for you to finish it so I can give the fecker a test run

The dangerous young drivers are the one's that can't except responsibility or learn from thier mistakes dude,at least you don't fall into that category! it'll make you a better driver! :) Luckily no-one else was involved and no-one was hurt 8) Hope nothing's been fecked from the bump, and it doesn't cost too much to sort out.

G-max seem to be fairly well regarded on MK2 Golfs, but having had a set on a g60 I really wouldn't recommend them mate - unless you have no other option you'd be better off waiting a bit untill you can afford a better kit (from what i've read the Weitec kits are decent budget kits)

My first corrado, just about purchased, need opinions please

That bonnet isn't sitting right in the pic mate, it's likely that it's just not been closed properly or something, but check it out all the same! -
That's a good bit of road for having a blast :) - I used to (ab)use it alot in my Cardiff taxi days - as long as there was no cops around of course :lcop:

Thinking of buying a VW Bora as I family car....
Walesy replied to C. Will Corrado G60 2's topic in General Car Chat
.....you can also buy tdi tuning box's from ebay for around £40-£50 that are easy to fit and give gains of 30-40bhp - much cheaper than a re-map. -

Maybe think about an Audi Avant tdi? - They're much better looking IMO and a bit better built. I've got a cheap Audi 80 Avant and I love it, my wife drives it daily and does up to 400 miles a week in it with no problems, she's been driving less than 2 years too so isn't the worlds most experienced driver! -

Have a search mate, i'm pretty sure there's a thread somewhere describing how to adjust the cables properly. EDIT - here : viewtopic.php?f=23&t=55679

cheers for that mate, doesnt sound too good, I only live about 30mins from this place so shouldnt be a great loss if i go. The exact reason why forums are so good! Thanks for the welcomes-nice to meet you guys! Can you guys recommend any where respectable? By the sound of it mate, the guy has some nice cars for sale, but just be carefull that if you see one you like you check it over properly. Some you win, some you loose. Personaly I wouldn't be put off buying from him in particular, but you'll allways have a better chance of getting a nice car for a better price if you buy privately.

Have you been knocked then?
-
It's a lovely looking car mate, the colour is 'ice grey violet' which is fairly rare and quite saught after :)

Hi mate , have a read through this thread Good luck with your search.
