Fiat will charge over £1k for the cambelt change...........tho IIRC there was some Fiat Coupe boys on here telling us(last time we had this discussion) that there are places who can do the job in-situ a fair bit cheaper lookswise its alright.............designed by BMW guru Chris Bangle, the only flaw is that the Alfa GTV came out about the same time and thats just gorgeous compared to the Fiat
-
4 actually they originally came with the 16v in n/a and turbo forms then were replaced by the 20v lumps in n/a and turbo  so at anytime in their life they only had 2 engine options as for the performance of the 20v turbo.............i'd only feel comfortable with a Corrado in twisties...........cos in a straight line i'd put my money on the Fiat everytime

not even on the Blue C posted there Rodders? Really don't understand it mate, I think it looks the bollox, and is gonna be the first thing on the list when mine goes into the shop. ? to me it makes the bumper look like some kid in a fibreglass shop has got a Corrado and has damaged their bumper and rather than pay for a new one has done one in their lunch break to save costs  .........even the blue one it just looks cumbersome IMHO......but thats just me...personnally Dave yer sig pic of yer C looks the dogs danglies and why you'd want to spoil the looks is beyond me :( but if its what you want then fair doos :D
-
just still not getting the smoothed bumper vibe sorry
-
cruise control by the looks of it.............it probably came with it as an option and is probably disconnected now
-
H8RRA don't seem like a fan either................its the placing of the number plate once the recess has been filled that makes it look worse too
-
smoothed bumpers look pants IMHO.......but each to their own at the end of the day

you not getting confused with Used Car Buyer.........they used a nugget yellow 16v then a blackberry VR6...........the only one i recall EVO doing was a buying guide comparing the C VR6 with 944Turbo,Clio Williams and TVR S2.......as a £10k budget buying guide.........it was a silver C VR they used -
sounds like a temp sensor to me.............but VAG-COM is yer best bet
-
i known someone who's after a Golf Country btw.............its a guy called Luke who was on the GPC stand.........he only works for them at shows but if you ask them they should be able to put you in contact with him,i'll see if i've still got his card with contact details besides Corrado owners wind you up too much so best get rid of yer Corrado

New guy, from the USA... looking for some help...
vr6storm replied to vdubCorrado's topic in General Car Chat
and also bear in mind his is a predominantly UK based forum so the chances of someone over here having a Jet are even more limited..............best try some of the german or dutch Corrado forums...........or you could try Kongo on here as he's recently bought a Jet,but reckon unless you offer him silly money he'sunlikely to swap interiors -
from memory they list the same kit for the VR6's AND G60's........tho FK use different kits for the VR6 and G60,even tho obviously the VR6 lump will be heavier, tho with the charger and other bits on the G60 its maybe not such a massive difference in weight
-
koni coilovers for the Golf VR6 have the same part number as the Corrado VR6 and G60 IIRC
-
likewise........you got over the shock i take it
