Furk'z don't be daft  ............it was a lot quicker than that  seriously tho.......welcome back...........flash red Corrado's are growing on me a bit more now
-
never had a problem with them in all the times ive used them, and their stand at Inters is practically mobbed all day long
-
Thats only on the 'Scotch' Corrado's Rodders as you lot wouldn't pay or the odd numbers  damn right we wouldn't..........only you "Engleesh" would be stupid enough to pay for odd increments :D :D :D :D :D :D
-
think its £17 per day on the gate
-
AGREED - I saw 120 for the first time in 12 months just the otehr day sat in traffic; but it came down to 100 once moving quickly. I was close to pulling over, but instead whacked the heater on full blast and had the sunroof open - it dropped to 117 straight away. i'd suggest your MFA is kaput then.............it only goes up in even increments of 2  :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
-
yes from the GPC stand  ..................assuming they'll do what they do every Inters......its VAT-free
-
how does a new grille for £23 sound to you then??..................tho you do have to go to inters for it of course

struan please get this into perpective............you have transport, regardless whether its a shitty Korean-mobile or a 2dr Coupe....its not the end of the world having the Korean-mobile........as long as your car is getting fixed then thats the main worry. -
what you also have to remember too is that generally most VW parts peeps aren't interested one bit in cars let alone Corrados.......my local VW stealer's parts guy is a sound kinda chap and absolutely hates corrados...........
-
thats pearl effect paint for ya
-
If anyone wants to see what i replaced the corrado with....

*cough* 2-door *cough* -
or if you go to Inters you should get them for around £5ea from GPC's stand
-
first thing first.............VR6's don't have timing belts.............they have chains and according to VW these "should" last the service life of the car.........tho some ppl and specialists here reckon its worthwhile changing them when they're over the 100k mark.............. as for which ones are best to go for..........ones that have evidence of regular oil/filter changes, and have obviously been well loved,if possible get the owner to start from cold and see how they drive it from cold it'll answer any concerns you have about whether its been well looked after or not..........i would never buy from someone who with a cold engine heads near the redline
-
............and also put no p/ex...........unless you want someone elses troubles
-
if its got a late interior i'd hazard a guess that its been retro fitted  ..........and although ive heard of J-plated VR's,I was always under the impression that they were launched/available from August 92 :?:
-
sorry but not liking the double outlet exhaust........makes the car look chavvy IMHO
-
.....especially with MG-Rover being bust for over a year too
-
well if someone can shoehorn a VR6 into a Polo not much older than a 98 model then its very well possible
-
glad to hear you escaped major injury, and hopefully you've learned your lesson as to driving/riding after a night on the lash btw should that last pic of yer nips have a NSFW warning?? :D
-
Ford Ka every time................we're(well the missus) on our 3rd now,97-99,then 2001-presently(2x KA2's and now a SportKA) and tbh the only thing that would tempt her out of it is a BMW MINI......nothing major has gone wrong other than the C/L motor going on the second one,tho they can suffer some rust where the door and rear qtr meet, but mechanically they are tough little cars with decent economy

well seeing as he'll probably claim thru his own insurance company, and no doubt they'll send an assesor out,it could well be relevant, and considering the Calibra's insurance company will try there damnedness to get out of paying decent money too........Skid who stays round the corner from Struan's work has had to fight an insurance company over the value of his mk1 after being rear-ended by a bus, they seem to think a nice and original mk1 GTI is only worth £600 -

the insurance might be Cnuts if your mods haven't been declared and/or if you have put it down as being parked in a secure area(such as a garage).............it might be worthwhile giving james montgommery a call as he had his CTR hit outside his work and he used a claim recovery type company to get it sorted(think it was hit n run too) if you go down the route of repairing it yourself, then i have the tailgate, back panel and rear bumper........ -
has it got FVWSH??......if it has you'll be able to check if its genuine miles
-
doubtful its a 93..........G60's stopped in 92.....tho obviously some might have been registered later
