    red?

IIRC indian red wasn't a C colour so he's probably mistaken it as being that................

  8. or go to your local VW $tealer........approx £10+VAT but you do get a nice corporate VW logo on it.......and it makes it look like its been bought from a VW $tealer
  9. coming up for 5 years............longest i've kept a car before was just over 2 years, was kinda offered £6.5k for it.........even with them knowing that its needing the front seats re-trimmed and the passenger door is stuck due to a faulty latch........thought of it but i would miss it if i did sell, even tho its hardly used these days
  10. spied a Tornado red/black leather valver or G60 in a Shopping mall car park......thought it looked rather nice, started noticing them a bit more and liking what i was seeing, then when they started getting a bit more affordable......early valvers were close on £10k when i was looking btw, looked about for about 2yrs then spied the Storm I have now
  11. transfer from car to car is £80....... putting it on retention costs £105 but this gives you a year to put on your car and includes the £80 transfer fee, then every year costs £25 to keep it on retention to change the nominee details(as you never really own the number, thats why it can be taken away from you if you abuse it) costs £25
  12. bloody expensive to run and fix too
  13. might be worthwhile getting new ABS rings/cages while your at it...........about £10 ea side saves trying to salvage mangle ones
  14. http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/download.php?id=4228 this is my 220bhp 87D plater I owned back in 1994/95..............had it up to 150+mph  .........anyway it wasn't the best example tho as it had a hydraulic clutch prob and a funny groan now and again from the rear suspension and it needed a £400+ clutch change.....for the F***in A/C compressor but i bought it cheapish £7995 was cheap for a 7yo problem these days with them seems to be rusty sills and the rear axle bearings quite tempted to maybe buy another but tbh the Corrado offers nearly as much grunt a lot cheaper
  15. depends on whether it was a pattern part or VW part too.....but must admit it does look ropey
  16. the thing with them too is that they don't feel too fast but you find you are shifting a lot quicker than you would in a near standard VR as for the interior............you only look at the rev counter and sometimes the speedo
  17. they are totally sublime...........ok 272bhp aint much these days tbh but they can still bring a smile to your face...........i can't stop driving mine :D
