i think by the sounds of it your C/L is just needing re-synchronised..............do a search on the forum as there has been threads about how-to re-synchronise the C/L

hopefully......not too late in the day........but there's also skid's mint low mile(40k) 92J G60 as he's not got computer access at the moment but i can just give a brief list of what he's done...........which is all very subtle IMHO Tornado Red with "petrol" cloth interior,BBS RX's(16inch),Kameii grille spoiler, totally stock engine and charger apart from K&N panel filter(IIRC),Miltek cat-back exhaust,Pagid or Tarox discs,black VW badges.......thats all i can think of at the moment but this car is one of the best Corrado's ive seen(its up there with Bill Aitken's VR6.........and Asim's VR6 too)

AFAIK its a VW-only part.............maybe yer local Ford dealer might be cheaper or its also maybe stocked by GPC..................if its any consulation...........it used to be a good £30+ dearer

the 16v they are meaning is the 2.0 16v(136bhp) which is in group 17.........however the 2.0 8v(115bhp) is in group 16 and to add to your confusion the 1.8 16v(136bhp) is in group 15 :wink:

the 1.8 16v IIRC is in group 15/16

it'll be cheaper (not by much tho and if at all bearing in mind its an auto) than a 16v fuel-wise..........as for insurance its actually in a higher group than the 1.8 16v.........as although its lower powered etc......8v and VR6's aren't exactly poles apart looks wise and in a way this is reflected in their insurance costs as well as the expensive Corrado body parts
