cheers guys,already checked the top of filter housing its ok.forgot to metion that it was overheating but got that sorted them the oil pressure prob started,spoke to couple of mechanics today they recon its just a faulty sensor as the enigine got soked with water.

iv got a 1.8 16v the engine mounts need replacing.thinking of doing them all cos theyv never been done and engine really does rock alot.what are the cheapest to buy and whats the best to buy?is there two in front and one at back or vice-versa. cheers

ok,the oil presure light keeps coming on in my 1.8 16v.comes on when i get to around 3k rpm.iv drain it and changed the oil it still comes on.dad says he disconected the wires on top of the filter housing and started it and it still came on,any suggestions cheers.everything else is running fine no overheating etc.

i was also wondering about this.i just took it that a standard g60 would be quicker but i have seen some sites 0-60 performance figures say that the 1.8 16V is few tenths quicker-dont kno if they posted it wrong or what!have a look at this C i was too slow,it was b4 igot mine though http://www.comoco.co.uk/corrado this guy mentions it being the fastest non-vr6 model-now is that 0-60fast or top speed fast???

Hi everyone, im looking into the possibility of studying car restoration,body repairing,ie having the skill to do cars up.only problem is i dont know exactly how to go about it,being twenty doesnt help as iv heard that companies would rather have young apprentices.im in uni at the moment but it doesnt interest me.i know the salary wouldnt be anywhere near as good as what my degree would have got me (mechanical engineer) but i want to have a career that interests me.if anybody has knowledge about this topic please respond.

i only had a laser back box from a g60 on my 1.8 16v and the rest was standard.the middle box started to blow so i eventually got a full system from supersprint (except back box still got laser)when i was removing the middle box i noticed that the insides had rusted and the stuff that resembles steel wool had blocked the exhaust up-hence blowing.anyway its straight through supersprint now with laser back box and goes like the clappers its got a nice note at normally speeds but when the pedal is pushed to the floor it takes off and is loud!!

I got my C near the start of the year and Swiss Cheesed (drilled holes) the air box. definately a cheap mod worth doing.better throttle response,i drilled quite alot of holes bout 20mm on the side thats nearest the wing removed the snorkle aswell.havnt had a single prob,still std filter still unsure which company to go with there.and i havnt made a cold air feed.let me kno how u get on.

there are plenty of similarities between the delorian and the corrado.delorian was a 2.8 v6 built for american market,corrado built for american market is 2.8 vr6.the delorian looks like the corrados predisesor (dont kno how to spell that). they WERE NOT designed by the same person the delorian was designed by John Z Delorian.who raised the funds to produce the car in Dunmurry in N ireland.he was american and previously worked for GM.the company went bust as investors didnt provide enough capital to keep the company afloat and Mr Delorian arranged a cocaine deal worth $24million to help with the cars production.he got busted as it was video taped and spent the next two yrs explaining his case he got freed as he was apparently a victim of entrapment.his career went down the drain and so did DMC.although he was f**k* minted anyway!and there was two gold plated models built then a further two were built but not buy delorian.i believe only one of the origonals is still intact.anyway im away to play fives now.

hi,just wondering if any of the corrado owners in my area are members of this site.ok here goes,a nugget yellow H plate from Airdrie?a dark blue VR6 that sits in multi story car park in paisley with "17s and private reg? a dark mystic blue i believe VR6 with"17s in-pro lights have been told it sits in 24 asda in hamilton? oh and in was on holiday in san antonio in ibiza dark coloured brittish corrado H plate 1.8 16v?

ok,885913 is a long pipe from the front of the car and a wee twisty S pipe that connects to the rear box,(eliminates middle box)i was quoted £82.50 for this option. and i was told 885803 was the middle box box option but it was over a hundred £.ideally all i want is an S shaped pipe that connects to the back box and eliminates the middle box (without the long straight pipe that goes towards the front of the car.as the only part bowing is the middle box.would TSR deliver to scotland?how much? same with C&R?is there anyone that knows of anywhere up here i could order through without paying through the nose.

does anyone know what the deal is with the vwccgb web site???

the other day i was on the motorway,when the car infront went over some debrae.a big F***'N bit of sheet metal.it smack my car making £140 worth of mess around the bonet and wing,oh and chiped the window.my wing mirror got rattled and broke aswell.so i searched around for new mirrors found two in red (same as my car) in good nick.the guy wanted £100 for them so i offered £75 and got them,should i have pushed for more off? he said they sell for £160.did i get done?they both work and are in good condition.

ok guys,thanks for your input.iv decided to o for the supersprint option,because its fairly cheap £82.50 only one problem.when i contacted them they said they dont deal with the public,they said they deal through halfords and a few other car places.i said far enough and contacted halfords but they want £105!!! im not prepared to give them that,cos im a skint student!!is there anyone who could help here??the part number is 885913 its the front pipe and centre pipe. for a 1.8 16V.

my second rear box is blowing badly,used repair kit but MOT is up soon so im on the look out for a replacement.the back box is a Laser box but when i checked out there web site they dont have a full system option.i was wondering if its possible and if anyone does a straight through pipe from the back box,which does away with the second rear box??or whats the cheapest full system i could get??my cars a 1.8 16V

how much would u be looking for the wheels and tyres??anyone got adapters for sale?
