    I need new front wheel bearings for the VR. The only thing that GSF list for the VR is a wheel bearing kit. Does anyone know what this includes? Stupid question :oops: : will this kit include both sides or do I need two kits?

    Yeah that's what I call people that have their fogs on. It's one of my pet hates about driving :wink:

    Cheers for enlightening me guys. :D People who have their fogs on when not needed are one of the things that really hack me off. I agree sometimes cars look better with them on, but I see better when people aren't blinding me with fog lights :wink:

    I understand where you're coming from. My VR6 needs engine work doing and I can't afford it but also don't want to sell it because I'd lose money! I'm determined to hang on to it as long as we can though. Like I said in another thread- I'll starve before I sell it!!

    This happens with the shelf in the VR too. It makes an annoying squeaking noise. I just turn the stereo up so the sub drowns out the squeak. :D

    Had the VR since about June, before that had a 16v for 9 months.

    ok, so something else is wrong with the VR :( Like the title says, the wheel hub is wobbly. Anyway, the other half is taking a proper look today to see if he can find the problem but does anyone have any suggestions ??

    Noooooo, you can't sell the 'rado!! We've just moved, and Alex doesn't have a job so money's a bit tight at the moment but I'll starve before I sell the VR!!

    Lol @ dazzyvr6. He doesn't have a job right now so while I'm hard at work earning the money (or reading the forum) he gets bored at home and starts taking things apart!!

    For some reason my delightful boyfriend is at home pulling bits of trim off the VR. :roll: Anyway, what do we stick it back on with?? VW will only supply sticky pads with a new bit of trim.

    I just got a quote for them using Alex's details, they wouldn't give an online quote for the VR but for the golf it was £395 comprehensive. £273 comp for me.

    I would have thought they'd be clever enough to have found some clause or loophole in the law to stop themselves being sued. We're talking about an insurance company after all!!

    Yeah, I find this wierd too. But then it's like companies that will only take older people.

    A few years ago when I rang around some women only insurers they weren't actually cheaper for me.

    I go on the m4/m5 every day and constantly find myself shouting at CLOD's (Centre Lane Only Drivers). They wind me up so much. These are the kind of people that cause accidents. When I have a stroke caused by high blood pressure and die it will be all their fault.
