Honesty mate you'll find more power will be wasted with out some form of cooling. The meth kit shouldn't be a primary source of cooling for the power you're after, more a supplementary cooling to a fmic or charge cooler. That would be what I'd look at next as there is no point in upping your power without a proper cooling set up. You'll risk pre det and just loose all that power as the heat rises. Also catch a car in the wrong gear and its hard to catch up. A sorted bm with near 300bhp won't be easy to walk over, you saw how our cars are and you have nearly 40bhp on my set up ands its still tight performance wise. Plus I don't want you to knacker that bottom end as I need it for mine ;)

I'm still game so let me know final costings and can paypal the amount over :)

Great bits of kit. I have the dc30 progressive kit on mine and rams bought the same after it was mapped well by vince. Vince was du ions about meth kits and had issues with them in past with them dropping power levels but he was impressed with the devils own kit and we had some good gains from it, rams had good gains too. Obviously if this is fitted to any car you will require a remap after to tailor for the water/meth mix

Nearly there :) been wanting one of these for a while!

Good luck with sorting it all out. As said its too wide currently to fit on a VR but if you just take off the gearbox then can't see why it wouldn't be fine then have the gearbox to sell on separately, that's the theory anyway ;)

Cheers for the comments :) yeah I've ordered a new ate brake compensator and some new rear wheel bearings. Thought for the sake of getting them tightened up may as well replace them for peace of mind for what they cost. Hopefully have it all sorted sometime next week. In the long run I'd love to rebuild the front end with new mounts etc and rebuild the bottom end for reliability but for the time being while its all working I'm happy to just leave it as it is. Rams, A fmic would be beneficial however just don't think it's worth the hassle at the moment. If I was to up the power I think it would be a must and look into it but i think the pipework fabrication would be a bit of a nightmare. Anyways for the time being will chip at it bit by bit :)

Hate to comment on threads when I'm not buying and not say something positive but just thought I'd let you know, however it looks like you might just be able to remove the dark grey gearbox centre section and move the end plate on the right where the pulley is up against the actual charger section then sell the gearbox section on? However see emu has called dibs on it :) If you can remove the gearbox section to shorten it all down so it operates at normal speed then its a bargain ;)

Is this a c30-94 mate? Only ask as me rams have the same charger but rams the 94 which has Bigger internals and mine is the 84 but externally they're exactly the same so interchangeable, it's just the charger in that pic is huge compared to ours, the size looks the same up until the silver section but ive no idea what that dark grey add on section is? looks pretty much double the length? I paid nearly double this for mine so a good price but I'm just not sure on its size, its very tight in the engine bay of mine and rams' the same? Glws

Brief update. After the hassle of stripping the threads on one of my rh adapters on the way to Stanford, I managed to order some new 25mm rh adapters with steel inserts as oppose to the 20mm one i had one previously. So i now have 17x8 rh zw1's all round with 205/40 falken ze914s with 25mm adapters. A great tyre that gives a little subtle stretch on the 8j rim. If anyone was to run this set up in the future I'd recommend 25mm adapters all round. 20mm is too close to the suspension locking collars. If you have rolled arches then 30mm would be fine. But it all depends how low you want to go. Managed a few pics. As its a corrado there's always something that needs doing so feel the rear wheel bearings need replacing as there was some play when the rear wheels were on and I gave tested it for movement. Also the brake compensator valve has decided to start leaking so that needs replacing too, so will probably take the opportunity to renew some worn rear brake lines. Credit card is not going to be happy. Also have my eye on a new man bike as I want to get into biking but not sure I can stretch the funds that far as the car always comes first :) Look forward to some more shows and meets Also the previous superleggeras will be for sale when I have a chance to give them a clean.

Any offers? -
I think they look nice on the blue mock up, but not the other one? I think with some low profile tyres and big brakes behind them I reckon you could be onto a winner. Possibly need some arch work tho to get a decent fit.

Nice video jez, just gutted you see me rolling out on tiny rear space savers :( however new adapters are on their way as we speak :) Clumpy, your car looked very mean if its the one I'm thinking of, spotted an intercooler and some tasty brakes behind the wheels. Really enjoyed the show, we spent most of the time wandering around and missed the cakes and remembrance unfortunately. I think everyone should wear forum name tags next time to make it easier ;) I was proud to be part of a well organised stand and this set up looked excellent. Big thanks to everyone that took the time to organise it all and the behind the scenes admin. :)

That's 12 isn't. Potentially 13 with billcor if we reach 20. :)

Cheers mate. Ideally need 25mm. Glws

What make are these? How much use? Do they have steel inserts or are they all aluminium? Thanks Craig

Ah you Managed to get the only flattering pic of mine mate with out the space savers ;) Just for those that werent aware why I was running 2 space savers, unfortunaley on the way down my rear wheels developed a wobble as id only just put them on so presumed the bolts just needed tightening, upon tightening the bolts i stripped the threads on one of the aluminium rh adapters. Nightmare. All the others have steel inserts so are ok. So Option of going home via aa or we suggested putting 2 space savers on the back to balance out the rear and as I'd come this far I didn't want to admit defeat. Im glad I carried on tho as I had a great day and saw some gorgeous cars, amazing dedication by people as to the level they have taken their corrados to. The drive home was slow, however i saw 3 ac cobras! made my day, Maserati gt, 458 italia, a track 911 rs being trailered, aston martin DBS and I got overtaken by a Prius and an ambulance on the limp home :) Look forward to the next event :)

Hello, Nothing too exciting but here goes. I bought these for a staggered set up of alloys I was going for but I changed my mind and went for the same width all round. So these are no longer needed and because I faffed about deciding about alloys I've missed the return goods deadline. Bought new from camskill @ over £70 each 6 weeks ago. Tyres are brand new, exactly as delivered to me. They have never been fitted to a wheel. Looking for £120 for the pair. Preferably collected or arrange your own courier. I could bring to Stanford if anyone's interested?

Bournemouth/Poole Meet Saturday 20th April
Craig replied to Rams's topic in Event Announcements & Discussion
Said to rams last time if we can find a nice open space in the new forest, which there are plenty and have a photo shoot and BBQ :) -
bump, surely there must be a few more that have toyed with the idea of one of these. Ill be buying one either way but discount would be nice :) Might have to go around sabotaging 3 piece scuttles on corrados i see ;)
-
Yes Fay, you cant resist lol! Rams is game, dont think anyone else is coming up from bournemtouh/poole area? I did mention to Rams about possibly camping the sat night but i know passes have to be ordered in the next few days so decision is needed quickly. Otherwise an early start is not too bad as long as we make it before 10am. but a convoy would be good, sensible speeds on the motorway though! Rams needs to get his interior finished first ;)

Just signed up on the ccgb and paid the fee :) awaiting my confirmation email :) Chatting with rams and we are looking to make this and head up. Ramsey is just going to check his diary, think he's a ccgb member. Can update this tomorrow if not too late? On the ccgb web advises Tuesday is the deadline?
