  2. likewise I find mine fine, considering it is a 13 year old car and a bit fat lump up front (and a 2.9 v6 engine). plenty of control and they have saved my bumper on a number of occasions.
  3. what was in the fuel can before you filled it up with petrol??? was it damp with condensation or was it open in the garrage and full of spiders? if it was damp, could explain the lack of drive and jerkyness. if it was spiders could be blocked fuel filter.

  12. cant go to far wrong with a 306 td. I used to have one and had a lot of fun in it. 550 miles out of a tank costing 47 quid and i never used to spare the horses. (not enought to spare). I would personaly avoid Citroens like the plague. poor build quality on cars of the N,M,P age and electrics are a bit on the dodge side in my experience.
  13. Right the program is called Checkpoint. It is marketed as an overlay for the program that sounds an audiable and visible mark on aproach of points of interest (which can be downloaded) ie petrol stations and minor iritations like cameras both static and mobile sites. http://checkpoint.oabsoftware.nl/ Hope it helps.
  14. a mate of mine found a free site which download a speed camera detector onto his Tom Tom on his PDA. It is updated regularly and has mobile sites aswell as accident blackspots, and it gives you a verbal and visual warning on aproach. Im off over there tonight. Ill get the name of it and post later. PDA with TOMTOM 400 notes.
  15. A copy of an internal Emither my bro recieved I know a lot of you use the M27/M3 so this might be of interest to you, don't want to see anyone on the next series of Traffic cops! Hants Police are doing some filming from yesterday (26th September) for seven weeks for a television programme series. If you use the M27 or the M3 this potentially affects you so please proceed with caution and pass onto anyone who you feel might just need to know. The program a BBC South commission called "Traffic Cops" will be filmed covering the area from Ringwood concentrating on Ringwood M27 up to M3 J9 and a team working the ring road around Southampton (Totton will have a unit working it alone), Cosham M27 stretch to J5 of the M27 (Southampton Airport turn-off). The fourth concentration is working from Winchester Services covering M3 to J10 M3 (Winchester South) using five unmarked cars, two Black Skoda 03 registration Octavia's, an 05 plate dark red Mondeo and two Volvo saloon cars. The BBC unit are going to be based out of a unit in Millbrook Road in Southampton and will also be covering the armed police response unit and the Southampton Airport Police Security / British Transport Police team. The BBC team are in Citreon Picasso MPVs leased from Arriva. To make it even more effective the Traffic police have authority from Chief Constable to "work to rule" So instead of the laid back approach to the usual Hants traffic police this will be a lot more concentrated to make it effective filming. Please bear this in mind if you travel over these routes
