  1. Yeah that posh bird lisp thing does it for me, and there is nothing sexier than a girl that can really drive. but I dont get channel 5 in my area so My vote is with Top Gear.
  2. AFAIK you will have trouble finding a VR that is 15 years old, dont think they came in till 92. Dr Mats idea sounds like it has some mileage.
  3. If you are getting a VR mate I would hang on to it. It is just far to easy to be doing 40+ without realising it and working yourway with ease through the gears and finding yourself at 80 on a roads. 8)
  4. Jeepers? Ive just been quoted 95 quid for the full kit from Ridgeway in Reading. All Im really fussed about is the jack and wheel spanner incase a tyre goes pop. might see if Halfrauds can do something a bit cheaper, if not Ill pm you about the kit. Ta,
  5. no idea? id a thought the plug removal tools are fairly universal but thinking usually gets me in to trouble. If it is the same and you dont need it for yout monkey bike servicing DGW then could I take it off yor hands?
  6. Aiming to return my car to standard spec. and it is missing a toolkit, How much would one from VAG be? If anyone has one going spare I would rather fund a rado enthusiast than the stealers.
  7. depends where you go and how lucky you are
  8. It seems the Road angel is the one and it manages to avoid the new legislation, as it is a gps locater rather than using the signal from a camera. you need to suscribe to it anually and it tells you when you are aproaching a camera. loads on the search.
  9. The only time I notice any difference between the high octane fuels and the supermarket stuff is on a cold start up, the drive is a little more smooth till warmed up with 98, after then no obvious increases in anything other than fuel bills.
  10. I also avoid 5th gear, but the return of Top Gear last night reminded me that it is just Automotive porn with little substance or relevance to the real world.
  11. I dunno, :? My mates and I have this exact arguement over bevvies. If your car impacts onto another object whether there is damage or not, is it a crash? I reckon there needs to be actual damage or it is just called a bump, (but that is only to keep my tally down)
  12. yes that is what the AA guy did when I blew a hose. It ran till the temp rose enough to start the water pump. which woshes all the air back to the expansion tank. keep it bubbling over for a while 5 or so mins to ensure no more air in the system then you can top up and recheck the coolant mixture is right.
  13. Hmm not good. Audi a4 55th place but BMW 3 series pre 03 came in at 30th place
  14. yeh something about german efficiency. If it were a UK company I guess I would have to pay for a replacement, if on even existed.
  15. that by driving an audi they are entering a more elite club, and they might get let out of turnings more often, meaning they would spend less time on the road and more time earning morwe bonus.
  16. You are right Stuart. is is a problem I had been ignoring, However Phoned Mcguard today on 0808 156 3675 and all I need to do is post the cheesed key to them and they will work out the code and replace it Free of charge. Result.
