Eh???[/quote:c546a] use it on black trim matey. Works a bit like silicone cleaner but with a nutty fragrance.
-
BB, sorry mate it is an Adobe jobby.
-
Kerrinmay, it just sits inside IIRC but after 13 years is likely to be grunged up. the soak just loosens it up, and yes they just go back together without any troubs.

http://www.eurotunnel.com/NR/rdonlyres/4D79AAAC-7366-4705-B80C-C4F9C88EE021/0/On_the_track_October05.pdf I was well surprised to see this in my shareholder letter. From experience it is a right mission getting up the ramps into a train carriage.

no longwave radio mate but i do get overhead airtrafic reports.

chris, this is the first car I have had that has been worth looking after or restoring thus clips like that are like brain transplant instructions. It all looks sound but I have absolutly no F+++++g idea what he did. Im sure that time and time again things become like second nature but at the mo, fitting an uprated headlight loom is all a bit odd. dont get me wrong I have no troubs with learning new rado stuff but first time fitting stuff is a bit like a blind chap and a dirty bird. (directionless and messy) Massive respect goes out to those who understand engines in that way, and one day im sure I will be able to change something without consulting the rado massiv, but in the meantime, WOW

that is amazing, he didn't rap his knuckles once :) cool soundtrack aswell.

open the boot and unclip the two bits of black trim holding up the headlining, then carefully pull down the lining enough to get a socket / spanner on the nut and hey presto. it can be a 3 handed job putting it back together as the aerial wants to fall over and the lining wants to spring back up while you are doing the nut up. HTH

Just scored myself a bargain. Did a bit of beer and curry shopping at Tesco, combined it with the new star wars DVD and managed to spend over 50 quid. they give you a voucher for 5p off a litre on their fuel. TESCO 99RON at 92.9p a litre :D :D :D

are we to conclude that 50 Cent is a dealer? I thought it was just Mylo from the tweenies.

I read a newspaper article a few years back that said that the Tescos, sainsburys ect all buy their fuel from the same places as BP and Shell. the only difference is teh additives used after purchasing and the standard the tanks are kept in. in busy areas like central london the fuel prices are kept low by using the profits from shop sales to subsidise the difference. In light of this Tesco and the larger supermarkets are able to offer more of a price drop in fuel as have more sales other than fuel to fall back on.

Ive got the adress for Mcguard from a packet on the shelf and the guy behind the spares bit seemed to know what he was on about. said he was pretty certian the ones on the shelf would fit but wasn't there in my car so wasn't going to risk it. besides if I can get a replacement free on a lifetime warrantee its got to be a deal. anyone good at German? I only have an adress and no number for them.
-
cheers mate, ill look into it, at least I got the wheels on before I fudged it.
-
there is a guy on norice forum who has done just that. he signs in as sherbert
-
just got speedlines back on and went round wheel by wheel for a final tighten, the locking key came off at a funny angle and now the blarry thing wont go back on. not an immediate problem as the wheels are on but will be an issue in the future. It is a sort of flowery patern on the key. Is this a standard nut that came with the car and if so would i get one at the stealers? ta.

ZippyVR6 replied to Ice White Socks's topic in ICE 'n' Secure
Snap with the headunit Ice white, Constantly playing with it in trafic, but I know what you mean about a little complicated to set up. if I ever bump into you or Kev at a show we'll have to compare notes on settings, high low pass and distances. Im sure i could make mine sound better but get to the point where im going round in circles with the menus.
