know what you mean 150%... am sitting in work today with 3 bloomin' Rados, since I started work weve had more Corrados in than ever - got more booked in this week - Its TORTURE, everytime I hear a VR I run out to have a look... am so sad... :) our issue is Dave and I have very different taste in Rados - so dunno what we are gonna do when the money comes through and we can go look for one... Gav - if you really want one sell the Goof and get one - Goofy must be worth a few bob, I loved the drive in him, i thought he was fab, christ if I had the money I'd love to take him off your hands, but he's not a 'rado..... I know of a mechanically perfect but dodgy bodywork one coming up for sale at a very good price if that would interest you....?

anyone know if its still possible to get 5x100 RS301's brand new? I have heard they dont make them any more but that some shops still have 'supplies' of them... any ideas anyone...? Cheers!

Can anyone recommend a company, pref in the Southern half of the country, who have the facility to bore out a 2.8 V6 to a 2.9? have heard that a cetain tool is needed and cannot seem to find a compnay that can do it - ideas on a postcard please... :) Thanks guys... :)

dont retrim them! they are rainbow recaros and worth something to the right person, sell em on and buy leather seats... would be a shame to change them...

hmmm.... in my first rado I started getting a wheel bearing drone at the start of a 420 mile trip home to Glasgow, ignored it and planned to get it sorted once there - started feeling ratehr strong 'vibrations' from the car whilst on M3 toll, this got worse and worse and eventually we limped into services as Lancaster to have a look, wheel was being held on by brake caliper alone, the hub was glowing red and the centre cap of my alloy had been melted with the heat... oops! 300 mile trip home on AA truck followed the next day... My point is it 'may' last another 400 miles, but it may not, keep an eye on it and if it gets really noisy or wobbly, dont do 120 up the M6 or your wheel will fall off....

I had a master plan for my 1st rado - then I sold my flat, got some cash and found one that was exactly what I wanted so I sold mine and bought it instead...! Regret selling both of them now... :( Would love to get another and go through with what i originally wanted to do....

be warned - alfas are like dubs, once youve had one you'll always want one... I had a 145 TS years ago, great, great car - always hankered after another one - would struggle to pick between a rado or a 145 if you had to force me to pick... havnt driven a 147 but heard great things about that engine...

lovely to see Nik and Zed finally get some recognition for the hard work over the years... have been lucky enough to drive Zed, had a good blatt down some A roads, and can say he is truley awesome... Well done Nik!!!
