  1. well, I presume your wheels are 7.5" so not exactly wide, your only options then mate are.... having arches done (rolled) to allow for the wheels, you may get away with just cutting the inner lip to give you a bit more room, possibly costly.... lifting the suspension up slightly until you reach a comfortable height or... grinning and bearing it!!! if they are only rubbing on full lock who cares!!! I had 9's on the front of mine with a 70 ish drop, only rubbed on full lock so I left it as was...! depending on offset, spacers will only push the wheels out further into the arches and make them rub the outer so I wouldnt bother ... :)
  2. they will stick out 7mm further than normal due to offset but as they are only 7.5" you shouldnt have any probs...
  3. nope - youre definately special... even I couldnt beat that and I am a girl.... :)
  4. hmmm... I wish it worked like that with us... I need to get another Corrado, one just isnt enough... lol!!
  5. i'm with the leave-it-as-it-is brigade... if Em is enjoying owning the car then dont bloody touch it! you'll find a nice VR and then you can think about modificating it and just keeping the 8v on the road!!! warning though - dont let Em drive the VR when you get one.... she'll want one next..... :)
  6. why bother mate, i didn't... ;)
  7. if you buy a VR it will need just need stuff done to it too so you'll be in the same dilemma only with a different car and possibly less money in your pocket.... i wouldnt expect you'll get a good price on yours with no MOT either... keep the G!!! :) (or, sell it to me, I can give you 1.26p for it....... )
  8. whats up with the engine and is it drivable just now? any ball park figures for how much you want for her?
  9. oooooooooooh.... liking the grille mate... very nice...! :)
  10. bloody hell - 56k beware!!! looks good though, when i eventually got the pics up!!! deffo the best colour on a C.... :)

  12. lol... well you asked for opinions... pfft....! ;) car looks lush on both sets of wheels mate, i really dont envy you having to choose between them....
  13. she is looking lush mate... seems like only last week we saw her and she was stock standard!!! loving the wheels tho... :) how long you think you'll keep this one for then....? if you start getting bored with it I can offer you a PX on an Audi 80...... :D any joy selling the VR Mk2...?
  14. hmm... love those wheels but the fact they face one way on one side and a different way on the other would bug the hell out of me....!! the cup 3's do suit the car.... but i think the Enzos looked better... :)
  15. really sorry to hear about your brother... I lost my brother to cancer a couple of days after xmas just passed, like your brother it was rare and there wasnt much they could do, he was only 10 and never had the chance to live his life fully... life will never be the same, but these situations either destroy you or they make you stronger... good luck with the funeral tomorrow, I wanted to say something at my brothers funeral but couldnt and I wish I had.... .... and enjoy the new engine, i am sure your Bro would have been well pleased you are doing it.... take care, our thoughts are with you....
  16. the handling and ride quality do get better on 15s - i might be able to swap you the T's for a set of G60 BBS's that have been brought to our attention.... i can get you pics and details if you want?
  17. bloomin' heck.... my insurance company didnt ask for any proof - i told them it was the factory fitted std one and they left it at that... i'd keep ringing round - pain in the ass i know - and try to find a more helpful alarm company....
  18. Oooh… Arosa, Lupo or Ka would get my vote… had a corsa and the build quality is pants, plus I got better MPG in my rado...! Had a Ka as a courtesy car for a few days – loads of fun!!! It was like driving a go kart all day, it was the 1.3, really nippy round town and happy to cruise on the motorway too… too small for me though….
  19. welcome aboard mate..... am sure someone will help you out!!!!

it shouldnt have a cat... what reg is it?
  21. welcome aboard mate..! Roccos are good cars, especially if you can find something thats been well looked after, which that one does! performance isnt great (ie not corrado quick) but as they are a bit lighter they feel quite nippy. not to sure on mpg however... obviously they dont have the sporty feel of a rado (well, the one i drove didnt) but they are a good car to get you on the corrado ladder! however for a little more money you could find yourself a 1.8/2ltr corrado.... :) good luck with the car hunt...!
  22. well... we did get a video of it on the way home... :) not at full welly but certainly giving it some... its raaaaather cool... plus the car looks fab...!
  23. wow, Wow WOW..... handed over the keys of my lovely valver to Jim today.... was, obviously rather miffed to see her go and feeling a little disillusioned... So, Nikki, M15 VW gave me the keys of her newly supercharged VR for the journey home.... blooooooooooooooooooooody hell.... I have never been so exhilerated driving in a car in my life!!! its amazing!!! and its not even on full boost or remapped yet.... at 4k all hell breaks loose, and at 5.5k i was praying we wouldnt run out of road.... for all of you who are thinking about it - do it, do it, do it....! even if it means selling an organ/limb/child..... I want one now..... :)
  24. yay!!! you got home ok then!!? fantastic... cannot wait to see and hear this tomorrow....!!! oh, your probably now officially the fastest girl on forum!!! lol!!! :)
