Heh, I know what you mean, I had to drive a mates Vectra once for a looong journey. Goddamn after an hours my back was really aching and realised how crap the seating position was. In the Rado it just seems perfect, seats are great too. yup - nothing can compare to the driving position on a rado...! my Audi, with seat as far to the floor as poss, still feels like a bl**dy bus..! the rado is also the only car that I have been comfy in, i am only 5'5" but everything felt in proportion and nothing was too far away.... god i miss my car already!!! lol.....

its a condition of the sale... lol!!! I believe Jim will be taking the keys for her at Stonor Park on sunday.... :(

Farnborough has loads in and around it... I have a few I see regularly, inc one that appears to live in the same little estate as us, and lots of random sightings of others....! plus there always seems to be a collection of them in our street! either ours, ones Dave is fixing or other forum members who are visiting or picking things up!!! think we had 7 of them outside the house one day...!!! lol!!! :) -
i'd say contact ebay and find out - they are pretty good and will usually tell you what you need to know within 24 hours....

with 5mm spacers youd go back to ET23 which technically should be perfect to put on with no arch work... (but please dont shout at me if i am wrong.... )
-
its been covered a million* times.... try the mythical search for your answer.... [/wannabe mod mode] *ok, not quiiiiiiiiiite as much as much as a million...... but close!!!!!
-
that might just be too far in to clear coillies so you may need spacers to push them out slightly....
-
yup - I have 9's all round... however I have a valver - narrow track - and I run ET15 Borbets with a 60mm drop and no archwork..... obviously the wide track is 8mm difference so the equivalent would be ET23.... :)
-
yup - I'll miss her... and here's what the rest of you missed out on... :) this was Ruby today.......

we were saying something similar a few weeks ago when sifting through some of last years copies - 1 mag says the corrado is old, ugly and outdated but 2 months later they think its the best thing VW done... have stopped buying it.... not worth the pennies.....
-
she has the original Scorpion alarm so dont have any certs etc for it..... soooweeeeeeeee... :(
-
she sailed through.... :) she's such a good girl.... its quite a novelty having a Rado where everything works....!!! lol.... I'll miss her..... :)
-
lol... its not been done yet, wish they would hurry up!!! :)
-
dont show Nick pics of any more wheels.... you'll get him even more confused and he'll have to buy a set just to see what they are like!!! Nick - keep the speedies and sell me the Oettingers... there you go, job done.... :)

Right guys…. Good vibes needed…. And lots of them…. We have 2 corrados going through MOT’s today, mine and Amy's ( missfairygodmother )1.8 that Dave has spent the last 2 weeks fixing for it… neither should have a reason to fail (although that means I have probably jinxed it…… :) ) but theres enough stress normally putting one through, but not 2….. have bitten all my nails off so far just waiting to find out whats happening… :)
-
.... she has been driven as a Corrado should at times - enthusiastically.... anywho, you can't talk Phil, I've seen you drive
-
have left her in their capable hands and will pick her up tomorrow, they cant see any reason for her to fail.... always good! :)
-
lol!!! well, there was only me in the car and I had about a teaspoonful of petrol but... well... i guess you just need to know how to drive the damn things.... :) have just taken Ruby to The Phirm for an MOT and a quick check over to make sure everything is ok - managed to get some spoiler up action on a B road....
