ok.. here goes... 9x16 Borbet T's all round, et 15, 4x100, 57.1 centrebore.... fit straight on!!! 215/40 - 16 Toyo Proxy T1-S's all round, rub on full lock to the right (60mm drop). Have 280 mm brakes underneath, hoping to get S2 twin pots to fit on, poss 305's eventually..... -
East End of Glasgow originally... moved to Surrey last summer and am now living it up in Farnborough, hants... :)
-
no pics unfortunately as I only saw them when the car was on a lift in the Phirm getting a quick check over...!!! they do fit under the car however, the strut braces are the ones which go in the boot and under the bonnet - right?
-
the ARB's are under the car... mine are a nice shade of red to match my C.... lol!!! :)
-
Eibach is what I have, am not sure of any other makes to be honest - but they are highly recommended. I have seen them advertised on the Venom website so have a look on there. less than £170 a set from what I remember. The thing with the corrado is that even as standard on standard wheels the handling is better than most from that era, with a decent set of coilies/springs and dampers and things like poly bushes and ARB's you can only make it better...!!! :)
-
Its Anti Roll Bars... they help prevent body roll on the car and make the handling feel much more responsive.... not a hugely expensive mod either.... and yup, I have 9's both front and rear.... :)

from driving a few other rados with and without drops and on various wheel sizes I'd say yes, a low-profile, stretched tyre does feel harsh. However, at speed, I think the car feels more stable on the 9's... (my car was on std 15's when I got it so I do have a point of reference...) but its all personal preference at the end of the day... I am really happy with my set up and would recommend it to anyone looking for a drop of more than 40mm.... Kev - to be honest when I bought the car the ARB's didnt really mean anything to me but affter driving with them, and driving a rado without, it would be one of the first mods I'd do to any other Rado I own.... :)

mine is set up with an approx 60-70mm drop at the front on Koni Coilovers and approx 50-55mm at the back on Koni adjustable shocks and springs, I also run 9x16's all round which admittedly doesnt help with the ride quality, although I do feel the handling at speed has improved. I do however want to even the suspension out to 70mm approx all round. Apparently the Koni front coilovers/rear shocks and springs was a proper suspension kit sold by Koni a while back - I originally thought it was just mismatched.... The Eibach ARB's are fantastic and add so much more to the handling of the car... I dont think I could own a Corrado without them now....

not the hugest fan of the bonnet bit but absolutely love the colour...!!! make me think about smoothing mine all off and having her done a different colour - bright cherry purply red maybe.... mmmmmm..... loving the wheels too....

we'll get her fixed, even if it is seriously a case of beans on toast for a month... I dont see how the smoke is a prob, she's always given a puff of smoke on start up, and from driving behind you last night it was no worse.... if the other place - who were definately very picky about the mot - will pass the emmissions then get it checked but it may not even be a prob... we'll get the garage cleared, tuck her away in there and take the rear beam off and see what can be done.... :) we'll have an Audi we can sell if needs must.... :) -

sorry - did nt notice the bit that said you were handing over your cloth for it too... if your part ex-ing then i'd agree with the boys and say no more then £200 plus your cloth.... :)
-
in ok condition for just the seats i'd say 400 quid... if, however you dont take it and decides to split to sell, i'll take the rear bench off his hands... :)
-
lol!!! then yes.... leather can be cleaned... on my cloth seats tho... no chance.... :)
