Totally agree!!!

i can remember hearin yours when i was @ jabba, sounded proper mint,i wished i'd known about them before i paid for my charger upgrade :( (joined the forum after i'd had the g serviced) Cool arent they, hope you heard it on the move too?
-
LOL No its not that bad mate. It is loud but in a good way IMO, and yes hard to tell in a vid. It does sound like that when stationary but still different on the move. Sure some one at inters will have one.
-
So even if the rev gauge is the same in both sets of clocks if i just swapped over the whole unit as pictured above with the 2 lcd screens but 8 k will all work as normal. As described above with the connections are they the same as what would be on mine been a G60?
-
So basically then i can fit an 8K rev gauge from the apparently rare 2 lcd 16V clocks. Happy hunting for me then?
-
Neil mate that vid does not do it justice! On the the move and not just revving when stationary its so so so much better.
-
Clifford every time. ^^^^^ as he said
-
How much for the brace your selling then sam?
-
Good stuff neil be sending mine shortly lol? Simon
-
So we saying then in some valvers they have the 2 lcd's and its out of one of thosr that i need the rev gauge. As i already understand it this is the case and should swap over relatively easy.
-
Well thats what i thought as it should be just before the change over date. The early G60 clocks and the early valvers should be the same and as you say should be no big deal.
-
Is this actually safe to do? Thought the ECU would need this? What temps you getting and how quick does it react/temperature change. Cool none the less. 8)
-
Cheers Henny thats really helpful. So i thought a had a early set been a 91 H but appears not the case as i have the two LCD's. Certainly sounds alot easier and probably a whole lot more reliable to get them reprogrammed. Will have to investigate some more now, cheers henny thought i had come to a conclusion over it all.
-
Yes thats fine kevin and thanks.
-
Well im not in the biggest rush kevin just needing to acquire the parts ready to do the swap, so when you got time can you PM me the part number and also a pic of the 16v cluster cheers then we can talk about the reddies. Thanks, Simon
-
All i need is the part number of the speedo on the 16v clocks. Unable to swap as needing my original G60 clocks to install the 16v rev gauge. Thanks Simon

Rocking horse springs to mind. :D

No probs neil just waiting to hear about a set but been waiting for 5 days now so not looking good. :(

Nice one riley. Hopefully good news as i really do think it will fit.

So plenty interested i am as well.

Too big on small spec but needed still none the less on a big spec. I know like i said i am agreeing. To be honest i would always prefer a custom map, as its going to be so much better than a "off the shelf" affair, but again agree with some ones earlier comment that its best to get your planned mods done with good base map, then get the custom map.

(8000 / 60) * 2 = 267Hz...so that makes sense. The question is: does a G60 rev counter (or any 7000rpm rev counter) have 233Hz printed on the sticker? I'm just wondering why the rev counter module has seven pins when it only needs three. Yea sorry lost me now?
