  1. Yeah i know!!! It was in a bad state really for such a good car! I hope they taught the owner how to wash it properly after that! Yea right on. If i could afford 1 of those there is no way i would be cleanin it myself, 10k not a problem see you same time next week then, its pocket change.
  2. wondered how long it would take you to sniff this thread out   really tried not to post but the urge was too strong, all for each for their own but still have my opinion and he wanted opinions. i think they can be made to look gay  They are gay full stop
  3. Is this not the dodgy Jimmi if so the cars not coming back and already been sold to 15 people.
  4. Sounding good stuff all this. Bet im not far off 135 in 4th as it is already on the G60 box so who knows maybe 175mph here i come. Hopefully get 1 sorted after my jollies in a week.
  5. Not sure bout ur alarm probs but does it have the dual zone proximity sensor? If so this could cause the alarm to go off in the rain if the sensor is not positioned quite central, or the sensor settings for inside the car off the dual zone sensor is set too high. You will know if your alarm has this if it gives off a warning when close to the car. Cant beat clifford alarms imo, alot slate them, but 99% of the time its fitted badly and/or not set up correctly. Best bet like you already said is take it to a reputable clifford dealer as even some who do clifford are naff. Even heard GAP security who do clifford charge too much to supply and fit stuff.
  6.   That old 1 is it, never fails get a lady friend and its down to slippers and corrie eventually.
  7. Maybe im wrong, its not based on how much they have sold for just something i read ages ago. Like i want a rallye but would convert it to RHD cos u cant buy them that way but with the corrado obviously you can get both so people tend to hold out for the right one to come along hence why they take longer to sell. The LHD corrado apparently handles better, could be wrong again.
  8. Yea thought he must have sold up or something, no posts not seen him around?
  9. what car is on the front cover of redline this month? I'm going to buy it so I can see what I'm up against!B Its the Reyland escort cossie on the cover of redline. Only prob though is its not gonna be quite the same engine now due to a few things, the word bang is involved, 2L comes into it and er more power probably. Mark is a man really down to earth and so modest shame things went wrong but it will be back quite soon.
  10. Sure the last i heard LHD were actually worth more than their RHD versions due to the rareity factor.
  11. Maybe try them cos either way your going to change next year when your pockets get deeper. I do believe you get what you pay for but if your not into hard driving and dont do journeys over 100mph you should be k. I have FK Konigs and to set the damping to low speed comfort it bounces about too much, needs stiffer springs, then when set to more race mode its just too uncomfy for the most part. Will be upgrading again on mine. No matter what you buy there will always be a trade off somewhere.
  12. Cant beat braless pics........
  13. Like this one matey. Cant see the bra :)
  14. Just dont do its, as said earlier it dont protect ought else so they going to need touching up still.
  15. Those the old Antera wheels? Not seen them in years, they proper rocked when they came out. We all say were not going stupid but once we get on here it all goes pear shaped. :)
  16. Did they have a 4x4 corrado. Only know of Jon Malik's 1.8T who work/worked for Stealth and that was green running compomotive black wheels.
  17. Well eagerly awaiting the end of the week to come mike. Because its giving more traction do you think its still worth getting a diff? I like the idea of having more traction in the corners but not the straight line torquesteer. As it stands its not bad in the straights and the car is reasonably well set up for the corners.
  18. I think once you start tuning the engine just ignore the mpg readings, not sure how far you have to tune it to start ignoring it but apparently when i nail mine im getting good returns which my fuel gauge disagrees with :) Glad your enjoying it again.
  19. A good explanation mike, its what i was hoping you would say, i couldnt get across what i meant as well too clearly. So do you think with my power levels it would make a good box, as you say the G60 box is naff. Basically i need a box that revs quickly but does not run out of steam too quick if that makes any sense?
  20. Andy Your not from the pikey site are you been down there again   only kiddin Lookin good and agreed it looks bit orangy?
  21. Glad to hear some more good results. Would you say its actually made the car a lot quicker in acceleration as well as more tractable?
  22. Does seriously idle rough on yours cos i have the same one as well and it idle's pretty much factory to be honest and i dont have a ISV anymore. For my application i cant fault the Piper 285 but not sure what difference it will make to more standard engines.
  23. Not sure about fitting them but i have a vibratecnic competition on mine with no probs and its not a solid mount. They do a road version thats not that much different to the original just slihtly uprated which could be another option.

    Which Seats??

The TT seats are really similar to the Recaro Pole Positions but i dont think they would look right either.
  25. The ibiza brembo are a popular upgrade but will require min of 16" wheels. Not sure if its true but compomotive mororsport wheels could fit in 15"
