Well already decided def not a 2l 8v but unsure as to get a 1.8 or 2l 16v. What are the main diferences suspect the 2l is more torquey.

Cheers mate. Im asking cos only ever drove my c so dont know how all the others compare and never driven a MK2 16V either. But still like the sound of the VR6 as a comfy cruiser kind of thing as i already have a high reving 4 pot.

Ok been thinking of getting a 2nd car and as i really like corrados seems daft not to get another to use as a run around. Now i know opinions are going to be divided depending on what model you already have but which one would be the best to use? Im thinking a VR6 but knowing me i will end up supercharging it which defeats the point of it been a run around as i dont want to really modify it as i already have one to do that with. Daft thing to say but which one would be more reliable etc but not boring? So i think 16V possibly? What you guys think?

A20LEE do Recaro do subframes for the c last time i spoke to them they were willing to make some for production but needed a car to do them on. This was before i saw your seats and yes those are the 1's i also want or possibly the Pole Positions.

Disagree totally i really cant fault Cliffords at all. Had mine 3 years and only problem i had is the valet botton contacts been fragile, had them replaced 3 times in 3 years at no cost to me just call into source sounds and replaced there and then. I keep saying this they need installing correctly and competently and setting up correctly.

I say when it rains it will detect it when its raining quite bad. It detects the rain more so on mine cause i park mine on a sloped drive so its going to come down the windscreen more easily. Also when you turn it off the next time you unarm then arm the system it automatically comes back on.

Dave mate they turned mine round in 2 days so i wouldnt worry too much. Wish i could take mine for the RR day but its just too damn far.

Its always gonna sense the rain its a motion sensor, so you have to tap side button twice and right hand once to turn that sensor off as the rain moving down the windscreen the sensor will detect it. Indicaters flash 4 times to confirm its off. Honestly put it where mine is then set up as though some1 has their hands on the glass and looking in then it should be ok. These sensors very very rarely go wrong they just need setting correctly. When setting like you say move it only 1 chirp either way then leave it for a day see how it is then try again if not right. If you need any advice contact Source Sounds and security on 01142 571550 they really really know what they are doing.

You can adjust the sensitivity of them. Mine is under the ashtray behind the handbrake. Obviously needs to be quite central. Its a G4 concept 500 on mine and when originally fitted it was set too sensitive as well just adjusted it down so when you pass the car it chirps about 4 inches away from the glass as though some1 is looking closely through the glass. Weather can also affect sensitivity, when its warmer the field will be slightly larger and the rain sets the damn thing off.

Well water injection will keep it from detonating. Its the "8psi for now" though, that if your going more some sort of cooler will be needed definately, and definately not a G60 standard intercooler.

Dr Haywire needed. Try chargecooling possibly. Depends what PSI you were going to aim for, water injection could be ok if not going to high PSI.

How about adding what brakes your running so people who have big conversions ie; Brembo's know what will clear also.

Where you got them positioned mate. Mine are in the dash, but all focal tweeters sound better mounted on windscreen pillar facing across you. As when in the dash the windscreen makes them brighter as well. Mine are cut on the xover and EQ'd on a seperate EQ sound real good but as with any install you can always do more. Keep the speakes but spend your money on a decent EQ as you need good control over the whole sound stage. Its like your engine you change 1 part and it affects others. Its all got to work together.
