God work g60greeny..................... Who likes then??
-
Very possibly not that i know bout them but was thinking it could have been 2L turbo but to be honest i couldnt hear any dump valve or anything. anyone got a worst beat???
-
Yea i know its bad but never gonna turn to the chav side would rather go Jap? Apparently his father used to build the touring car engines or something similar so he probably had a good helping hand. But yep was gutted lol.
-
Not as yet on me that i could post up but if you can find SWG in the Golf+ or PVW. But honestly they really factory look and your vent still works minus the ability to direct airflow.
-
Well not enjoying writing this but i got beat by a corsa.....? Personally i say it was down to my just about legal tyres and it been wet lol. Not sure if it was the one that is 350BHP round my way but it was stupidly quick and even, dare i say handled? the lad must av spent a fortune to make it do that lol. All i can say is that at least it was not chavved up at all which made a refreshing change, i still have a small amount of pride left lol.

Spoke to the very helpful guy at SWG and suggested about building a Heater vent gauge pod like the one he does for the MK4 golf which is very factory looking. He will be looking into it shortly hopefully to see if its a viable option to do as in will one fit. Has any one carried out a DIY version? or tried to see if a standard 52mm gauge would fit? Anyway a group buy would be a strong possibility. Would any one be interested if it all comes about?

Some1 like Dubsport charge bout 5K and their now using Haldex last time i spoke to them.

Try this. http://www.jabbasport.com/product_fulld ... oductID=35

Although its Jabba who sell them, its Pro Alloy who build the kit. Which im sure no one can argue with their workmanship.

:luvlove: :luvlove: Had 1 for 4months absolutely couldnt get enough of the noise just dont think other people can get used to it tho. Every1 and i mean that stares which is just more funny seein their faces. As for silencing kit its only silenced when throttle not open. so as soon as you open its just the same i believe maybe wrong.

how much difference is it really going to make? G60 question

The Golf Mag - 300BHP G60 (Well.. turbo'd)
junkie replied to joebloggsVR69's topic in General Car Chat
Maybe Tempest but the good thing bout this conversion wi boost controller is that i can have 2 boost settings, 1st is really progressive like your beloved supercharger, but best of all the 2nd is full on turbo power which is ace mate. Simon -
G60 X-flow - Anyone completed one of these yet ?
junkie replied to BigTartanJudge's topic in Engine Bay
At the end of the day, how much power can you realistically put through a FWD setup anyhow? Well currently running 310bhp and 305lb/ft of torque and very tractable at 1.45bar on 8 valve G60 head although enlarged valves and no traction control. -
Think people worry too much really, keep serviced well all should be good. loads a people sayin got problems but im sure as many people dont as well? Dump the charger n put a turbo on no more rebuilds and peace of mind!!!!
-
It seems so many people get stung by dodgy dealers and fitters. So it makes sense to name and shame these thieves. Would make a good sticky next to the Recommended fitters.

Still having problems with Clifford Concept 650
junkie replied to Stroller's topic in ICE 'n' Secure
If you are trying to get your money back directed will not do it because they only supply the kit. As i said before they are fantastic alarms not gimmicky just need installing properly, unfortunately its seems you fell victim to the thieving scum who throw it on get the next car in people. Stick their name on bad installer thread if there is 1 if not start 1 up. -
Yep sounds about right just like i reported bout 2 months ago, but still every dismisses them?
-
Screw types are more efficient.
-
Not too sure about timing and all that but all i can say is it makes it loads more torquey and revs loads better, kinda like a 16V but with a wide spread of torque. Would defo reccomend!
-
1900cc needs the 83mm pistons. Yes simple rebore. Have the conversion and big valve head with all extra gubbins inside and running 1 bar made a good healthy 260BHP with 250Torque. Strictly speaking yes they are 1.8 turbos but still kinda gets confusin when explaining due to obvious reasons so G60 turbo makes more sense. Depends what turbo you use to whether you get the on/off boost, as have no lag issues with mine you would still think it has a supercharger on. Nuff said.
-
My mate has the bimmer 328i good car quite solid built, comfy but would still have thr VR yes biased as hell. About 6k to supercharge and about 8-9k to turbo the bimmer ive heard???
-
These heads that Darren is getting in what are they??? X-flow???
-
Spoke to JBS about 12 months ago about fitting these clocks, and it cant be done without all the engine and loom etc. Do look gret in a c but gotta do 20v
-
Well currently on medium setting, will change to softest. Still wanna go coilovers as well which would you recommend?
