Just a few questions as will be doing this soon. Got the inlet manifold off and got new gaskets for that, do i need to renew any of the bolts/fixings that held it on? Same for rocker cover, do i need to renew those nuts? Also when i went to buy the rocker cover gasket there was two, one for a plastic cover, and one for metal, i didn't know which i needed so bought both, will it be obvious which is which, when i take the old one off?

i bended mine back into shape, but they weren't too bended in the first place. I would say it was very minor bendage

i got my old bushes out by poking a screwdriver through them, then hacksawing through them

i like it now, and no longer have the problems i used to moan about, and now i can use the normal link to forum rather than the "direct-the-corrado-forum.net" one

are the inlet manifold gaskets new VW stuff? i just took mine off over the weekend and could do with new ones.

Decided i don't need them, my samcos have been fine and still look new, and my mate reminded me that i'm ditching the standard oil cooler so won't need them hoses

i found similar in my boot, i attacked it with the dremel and put some rust treatment on it, i plan to revisit it soon and see how bad it is

going to look at my hoses tomorrow, i may sell my existing samco kit and get this kit. Not sure which ones i need tbh, am getting confused at all the hoses :lol: i know i have two left from the samco kit that i didn't fit, and i didn't replace the oil cooler ones ---------- Post added at 10:10 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:09 PM ---------- also i notice the inside of the samco hoses is different colours, blue or grey, i presume blue is water and the grey is breather stuff then

Let KADVR6 have them, I'm not in desperate need of them yet.

Although they say corrados are unrealiable, i've only ever been stuck and needed recovering once, i quite enjoy the adventure of fixing it and getting home. I have the gruvenparts one on mine, its nicely made but quite expensive, but i figured its never going to need replacing again. Think i got a deal as i ordered a few VR6 parts at once, still got some golf part i never needed.

When I took my wings off, one side had a spacer for the wing, the other side was missing. Dunno if this means the wing sticks out further. Sent from my X10i using Tapatalk

thats the two i mentioned in another thread, but just read they aren't for oil cooler, so i don't know
