    G11 or G12

H20G++ is that the formula for mixed coolant
  2. i found this on mine yesterday, always been chuffed its never leaked :( mine is passenger footwell carpet, all the sill is wet too
  3. that rear seat is so odd :confused4:
  4. you can get them alot cheaper elsewhere, like £5 http://www.vehicle-wiring-products.eu/V ... ockets.php
  5. would it be possible to use something like this? http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/Product.d ... Motorsport relay box?
  6. would it be a hard thing to make in say fibreglass or carbon fibre?
  7. if they advertised them at £500, they would probably do quite well, thats the sad thing
  8. buy them, for £132 what have you got to lose?
  9. thats all i greased up too, i also fitted the trumpet bit the wrong way round (compared to diagram i was shown), seemed to work better and not catch on anything.
  10. thats what i have and seems decent enough
  11. 8) you will have to get some photos of how it looks etc if thats ok? my steering is now seriously noisy when turning you can hear it kind of clunking lots and lots of times as you turn almost a continous noise. Can even feel the wheels move on their own as you go round a bend and hit a small bump, quite scary.
  12. mine has never worked and its never been mentioned at MOT time. I do worry if i ever moved and had to take car somewhere else they might say something about it. mine has been butchered by someone, bulb cut out, the whole casing falls apart if you take it out
  13. am seriously going to have to do this column mods, was under mine lastnight trying to find what is wrong with my steering, but found nothing
  14. hopefully the pics explain what i did, yoour trying to hook onto the metal loop that the cable passes through
  15. not too worried about value tbh, i've bought mine already and at the time the price was reasonable. I do feel there are some members whose most important concerns are how much their car is worth when they sell it. its people like us who determine the price of them
  16. still not got round to checking anything, just not been driving when its dark so far. i have noticed the lights on switch do actually still work, so all i am missing is the dipped beam on both lights
  17. i just bought a 1.8 escort for £150, the parts are stupid cheap for it, especially 2nd hand stuff.

    who has A/C

i am starting to consider taking the ac system out of mine too, never used it in 4yrs and never really use the aircon in other cars either. not sure whats involved in taking it off, but its no work of art to begin with, the pipes rub on the battery wires
  19. i was thinking maybe its grey and the colour is at fault but after looking again it is actually toilet bleach colour
  20. t-cut with the colour in is rubbish, if the machine polish didn't get it out the t-cut won't do anything. whatabout trying something like this? http://www.chipex.co.uk/how-it-works-i-4.html was posted on here a while back
  21. had a play with car lastnight and found out, the sidelights work, the full beam works, foglights work, its just the dipped headlight beam not working. also the switch in dash doesn't illuminate anymore, so guessing its the switch :( will be taking a trip to VW with this switch and the receipt and my bad mood  TBH i'm seriously considering leaving corrado ownership now, fed up with all my money going to the germans
  22. i have wondered this, if its the wiring getting old, i have one of the upgraded looms from the forum but never fitted it. Justs makes me worry what other wiring might be getting old and past it :(
