Recently when starting the car when engine is hot the cars is really lifeless, it turns over alright, but for a few seconds the revs sit really low (like off the scale) and it struggles to get up to speed. If i give it a rev it helps and sorts itself out otherwise it just takes a few seconds to kind of whirr up to idle speed. Drives fine afterwards

i'd like to add that i've had two different makes of -40mm springs on mine car and the front end dropped 90mm over standard and was too low, 1995 vr6 it was and i bought weitec springs then Pi springs and both the same problem

check the bleed nipples aren't seized, you may need new ones of them

Well i hope its fixed now, the old clips pretty much wafer thin and doing nothing. deffo worth replacing/checking those clips, i hate to think how i would of felt seeing car in flames.

yes, just don't use it, mine broke and stupidally i played around with it then all of a sudden i got the plume of smoke from dashboard :lol:

My corrado came with aircon fitted from new, but when i bought it the last owner said it probably needs a regas. I never used the aircon and so its just sat as is for 3-4yrs now. I was at local garage yesterday talking about it and they said they could regas it but after all that time they reckon it will be buggered as the seals will of perished etc.

i would but means driving over there to order, then waiting, then driving back over to pick them up. i will order online somewhere and hopefully have them for weekend.

Noticed my fuel filter is still leaking fuel from both sides when i 1st start engine. Just about to order some clips from here http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/Motorspor ... /1537/6274 but unsure on what size i need :lol:

Needing a 2nd car again, and thinking of getting something i will repair/maintain rather than just run into the ground like i did with the fiat i had. What are mk3 golfs like for part prices? Wouldn't mind one and reckon i can get all my fishing gear in etc but don't want to be paying a fortune for parts.
