*runs outside to check corrado for evidence of sausage*
-
i know i've read somewhere about checking the pump in the boot is getting a signal from the handle, i think you can test the socket there
-
i would recommend the Beru leads too
-
everytime this comes up i think of starting a "who has driven the furthest in a corrado" thread  would be more interesting to see the results
-
great photos 8)

i hate it when stuff like this happens, same happened to me when i noticed a fuel leak, went to open bonnet and that got stuck too  i really just had to laugh and walk away

Both reverse lights not working - new bulbs used
Jim Bowen replied to Dr Forinor's topic in Exterior
yes, worth checking the switch on gearbox (if they have one) -
nice one, i agree, it should be easy for me to find, i'm not even sure i've found the correct fuse anymore as the wire colours aren't the same as the ones that appear by the seat
-
rear wishbone bushes ok? i had one fail, was quite new too, and you could rock the wheel back and forwards, and could see the wishbone moving about, and wheel moving in the arch
-
i'm really quick at doing mine now  -put seat as far forward as it goes, to remove the trim in rear footwell, push it towards rear of car and pull up. -put seat most of way back, undo 10mm bolt at front centre of seats (just a nut and bolt to act as a stop) -then you push seat back and out of runners. remember to unplug any wiring if your seats are heated/powered
-
the question i will ask you is. did you go for the 3 second rule ( even tho its regardless of how long it has been you just count slower lol) and eat the mint that you dropped. or was it lost into oblivion. or the same place my pound coin went the other day?? i did find the sweet it was over 12hrs later  i really nearly ate it as i enjoyed the rest of the pack so much, but it had black grease on it :norty:
-
right i've got back on this at the weekend and found there is no power at the sockets under the seats. its a nightmare to get to the back of the fusebox, last time i did loads of other wires fell out  does the power wire just connect to the back of it?
-
i could even get my hand under the seat the other day to retrieve a soft mint i dropped.
-
i like the hollow back on the spokes, they must be good :D

a magnex rear box needs a different hanger to the standard one, unless the box has been modified somehow. the two on the bar hanger should just push on each side and are pretty standard and easy to get hold of
-
i did find a little inline fuse, which was dangling around near the fusebox, that had previously blown, so i replaced it and i'm sure the seats worked for a moment after that. But now don't work. will get out there later and lift seats up again to check wires. I take it i test the connection under the seat? do i unplug it or try and test it while trying to activate the seats?
-
just been out to local homebase and picked up a test meter, will read the manual and see what i can find out.

i haven't no, i think i need to buy some electrical test stuff, not one of my strong subjects.

How to: Open a stuck door
Jim Bowen replied to OllieVR6's topic in [Archive] Wiki Submissions & Collaboration
yep, thats the bit i found when mine was stuck but i found it hard to explain. my drivers door handle is awesome now  -
:brickwall: silly me, i found out it was for foglights when i suddenly remembered its printed on back of fuse box cover  still can't get the seats to work, i've found out the heating works, as i can hear a relay click when i turn them on, so its just the power functions not working :( really annoying me now as i broke it
-
what is fuse number 10 for, in the slot on the fuseboard in footwell? just checking everything and this one is a 10amp and has bloated up and melted, the wire inside is just intact but all white and warped
-
Since i took my front seats out and put them in again, they worked for about a few seconds then died. Its definatley the electric movement not working, not sure about the heating bit but guess that isn't working either. have checked the fuse (10amp) and it was fine, it had blown the 1st time, changed it and still nothing works? am about to take the seats out again, already checked the wires underneath and all was fine

i've made my bulldozer, played with it for 10mins, took it apart, made the b-model, then took it all apart again  now i had a pile of lego
-
i did a set of speedlines, and for the effort i put in and the amount it cost in materials i should of got it done properly from the begining. In fact after i had finished the refurb myself it wasn't very long before i go them done properly and really pleased with them. I think the biggest factor is getting the laquer finish correct, if they come out a bit "dry" then its a pig to clean the dirt off.
