  1. lifeshine thing? my dad paid for this and its not worth it imo, i did a better job on his car myself.
  2. can you put my name down and let me know where to pay if they are availiable still
  3. i haven't, i was even going to go and buy some
  4. i've had a bit of a play around and the main factor to consider as said before is the size, and then the wheels that are availiable can limit that. it may be easier to buy a lego technics car and modify it to look like a corrado somehow
  5. i think i might try making my landrover ambulance 1st, should be a bit easier
  6. the first designer i downloaded is rubbish, seems there are two versions availiable 8) i reckon this will be harder than i 1st thought
  7. http://shop.lego.com/Product/Factory/About.aspx is that the correct link? sound be to a lego design program
  8. so do these fit straight on, without having the bit on car unplugged and spade connectors onto the terminals etc? still not fitted the other one i have
  9. have a look in the dark with engine running and listen for electrical stuff shorting out (like little clicks)
  10. its hard to get the card off without damaging it. you can pull the rubber strip and the plastic strip off the top of doorcard inside and out, and can experiment with the window up or down, or only halfway up etc. thats how i got mine up, through that little gap with a torch and hooked bit of metal rod
  11. hate to say this, but i would probably break it if i could and i was in your position. Sounds like parts of it still have a lot of value individually, otherwise you would have to offload it cheap to someone as a whole car. On the other hand what would you get instead? another rado?
  12. looks great, white on red works well, deffo a motorsport look
  13. I've been pretty sad today and had an urge to buy some lego or meccano  i blame James May (i bought loads of airfix models recently too and they went straight into cupboard, couldn't be arsed with all the paint glue) anyway found this, and thought i could try and make a lego corrado   do you reckon thats possible? i design stuff in 3D for work so could easily draw lego shapes and work it out first. also saw the lego crane :!:! about £500-£700
  14. i still can't screw into the pin, i will get around to fitting one day
  15. i've had similar problem before and found a little lever inside the lock bit wasn't returning to its up position, so door would get the signal to unlock, the pin would move up and back down very slowly.
  16. what do people think of this? its group of local chaps from where i live, they have an album out on itunes at the moment
  17. i nearly caught you up, but the worry of someone coming up my rear really put me off :|
  18. i didn't think it was too bad a job, even with making up the new brake pipes. the best thing about doing it yourself is you can check out loads of other stuff and clean things up a bit etc
  19. i went from last, to 1st and managed to stay there... i think i deserved that win... Although you should have come second, if it wasnt for Jim  did anyone save the replay?[/quote:1zd8rj1o] i not sure what i did, but it wasn't on purpose  i'm feeling really pants at the game, i think its since i've got MW2 i've only played forza for an 1hr when its corrado race time. my best lap times are quite a bit off everyone elses too.
  20. don't think so, i checked everything out and all seemed correct :confused4:
  21. will try and put some pics up of my ghostbusters mobile later
  22. i'd 100% recommend the KW1's i changed suspension 3 times as the spring/shock combos didn't lower the car the correct amount, front was much lower than rear, front was too low, rear not low enough. Not sure how some company work out the 30-40mm drop as mine was measuring nearer to 90mm drop
