  2. Editted this from earlier as i was an idiot and put the HT leads on in the wrong order :cuckoo: but the problem i still have is, i changed the aux water pump today for a 2nd hand one from ebay. Old one was leaking but worked fine. Now as soon as i turn ignition on the water pump comes on and seems to stay on when i start engine, its also really noisy. is this just a duff pump?
  3. not sure what the stuff is i got from gsf then, i take it VW is g12+ because i have a load of that already mixed will upload a photo of what i got from gsf, see if i can mix them?
  4. did mine today, the fuel lines were clamped on with a little clip with a screw in it? is that right?
  5. Finally got around to replacing the aux water pump today and fitted the gruvenparts bracket i've had for about a year  What i need to know is, is it safe to mix the pink G12 coolant from gsf with the stuff i've bought from VW? are they the same? what is the difference between G12 and G12+?
  6. you should get a little knob with them that sits on the fronts, the rears have to be adjusted off the car. I should have a manual and the knob around that i don't need anymore well thats how it was when i had them on a corsa
  7. didn't get a photo but its the same way up as yours, so its correct
  8. do you know which way to slide the front one? towards battery? up towards the rest of engine? can't get mine off and a search revealed this thread?

  21. where was the fuel dripping from? i have a fuel leak problem and can't find anything, neither did the local garage. mine dripped/streams off the lowest point on the rear of the filter, so could be running down a line etc i find turning car off and on a couple of times and it stops
  22. trying to order all new gaskets, mounts and rubbers over the phone but i'm getting confused.....some mounts are £4.08 and something to do with backbox is £27each??? has anyone got a diagram showing all the connections and mounts?
