  1. i am using the brembo ones from gsf and happy with them, they stop me ok and haven't disappeared yet? whats the coating all about? does that wear off straight away?
  2. Phoned the place for Magnex exhaust but they have none, she said the corrado ones flew off the shelfs before any others.....damn you corrado enthusiasts  Speaking to stealth, the chap agreed that miltek are a bit patchy, and not a consistent quality, the supersprint is going to be loads of money and i can't justify it. so left with the Jetex or risk it with a miltek
  3. is it a genuine VW rad? that may be the problem, if its a cheap version it may just be shite. the VW one comes with the rad neck all fitted, £180 though, but my original lasted 160,000miles
  4. fit rattling suspension?
  5. whereabouts in Harlow do you meet? i could show if i'm not busy up but wouldn't be in the corrado :(
  6. nice link :) i'll 100% be phoning them on monday morning..
  7. i did see that system and the tailpipe also put me off :(
  8. found a good little review here, its not a corrado but a vr6 golf http://www.newdimensions.com/00_global/ ... /index.asp both supersprint and jetex come out well, am starting to sway towards the jetex now, after thinking about money etc
  9. Supersprint -Backbox = £378 -Centre = £163 -Front = £50? Total = £591 Miltek catback = £408 Jetex catback = £378 Just pricing up the 3 main contenders. I think i may give supersprint a miss for now :(
  10. i got moody with the guy on ebay selling them as mine took ages to arrive, sent him a grumpy email and he turned up on my door step in person with the seals
  11. you can buy the rubber seal on its own, a chap on ebay had loads for sale. i've got a spare one still, a really tight fit though but it does go on
  12. critical mass: Where did you buy your supersprint stuff from?
  13. i'm wondering do i just get a miltek
  14. http://www.europerformance.co.uk/pages/ ... category=1 jetex also do a front pipe it seems, no pictures but sounds the same
  15. i'll be keeping the cat, i took it off a previous car and caused loads of grief. nice diagram, that makes sense now, so you think i won't be able to buy the front pipe? seems a bit stupid of supersprint to stop making the simplest piece required to fit the rest of their exhaust?
  16. looking at these it seems the front pipe is to replace the cat, i.e: a decat? http://www.europerformance.co.uk/pages/ ... category=1 will look under car properly tonight, but can't see me needing a length of pipe that long
  17. so hard to choose  does anyone have pics of the pipes on a corrado?
  18. i was told that only the pieces facing the sitter are leather, so front faces of the back, base, and 4 bolsters
  19. i might just get the centre and rear box, is the pipe just a bit of pipe. My local exhaust place might be able to supply something like that
  20. just looking at the site here http://www.supersprint.com/USP0000vwcor4.asp i take it i need: Rear Exhaust 120 x 80 cod: 886805 Centre Exhaust cod: 886803 But then are the other bits hi flow cat? seems to be 4 options there
  21. what do you mean by not full stainless? a lower grade throughout or parts are different steel? are they the same kind of price as the others?
  22. i put some type of glue on mine and pushed them in really hard
  23. the rubber did look a bit long, i've not been under to look properly but am sure i've heard a slight blow recently. I'll probably just get a new system anyway as i think most of it hasn't got much life left in it now.
  24. the main thing that worries me is it being too loud all the time. I'll probably be getting stealth racing to fit the exhaust (when i eventually get around to booking it in)
