i wouldn't pay for it until its fixed properly, i've had this before and it ends up getting to the point where i'm sick of the garage and they sick of the car, i start to worry they don't really care once they get things back that aren't right. depends how well you know garage, wouldn't be good to upset them

i was just going to say my expansion cap is a right git to get off, even when i've only done it up a little bit, really annoys me. last time i was at side of the road i had to find sticks and bits of rock to get it undone, i keep meaning to grease the threads not much help i know, but am glad its not just me that hates that cap

lol, i was going to say this is that guy that calls himself DOLLARZ or something equally gangster, i feel a bit sad for knowing that, but has said earlier its 100times better than the corsa :gag:

i think i have the weitec ultra gt? not sure its just the springs and shocks, -40mm. i'd only get if it your stuck and in need of some suspension asap thats cheap, does the job but i still find my car is boaty and leans around corners, yet bumps are pretty harsh and the ride is very firm at slow speeds. Saying that i may have other handling issues, axle bushes maybe

i had one for a weekend, and they are good cars, but feel tinny and to drive fast you have to drive aggressively, which is what i didn't like.

i had quite a lot of corrosion too and thought the same about a ridge that was meant to be there but it turned out to be a buildup of corrosion/rust. i took the dremel to it and totally smoothed it out, but thought i'd taken too much off, after that i greased the crack pipe and it slipped in v.easy, i read a description saying it should slide in like a hot knife through butter :lol: which it did and all has been fine. its deffo needs a lot of attacking, took quite a bit with the dremel

shouldn't need much sanding to get a decent key for a plastic primer, i wouldn't of thought its too hard for a bodyshop to do.

lately around my town, 4 of the builders have come out and found their work vans sounding like a tractor and looked underneath to see the cats been cut out :shock: -
good pics, i did the same job not long ago but didn't replace the oil cooler hoses, even though i did all the rest, thinking back, maybe i should of. can they be done you reckon withot taking car apart? i forgot to check this.... my block looked the same as yours, rusty and oily in the same places. how many miles has your corrado done and what year is it?

you should be able to slide the surround piece towards the rear off car with door card attached at it comes off, but you still need card off i reckon, just makes that a bit easier

i like the rarity of them and the little story behind them, but they do look pretty crap, don't like the colour inside or out, and the wheels suck :gag: :sad: :sad:
